  I had an issue with my washing machine with a broken bolt in the motor assembly (that I caused in removing a piece for deep cleaning). I called for service and, after talking things through with them, they advised that this repair would lead to the replacement of the full motor assembly and all parts surrounding it. With labor and parts, they believe the cost would get to be close to 75% of the cost of a new machine. For this reason, they declined the work. Although I am disappointed at having to buy a new washer, I am thankful they saved me the headache and additional cost of a repair when a new machine makes more sense. I absolutely love that they helped me make the best decision, even if it meant they didn't make money on the repair job! Thanks, guys!!

  I've used this place for YEARS and always had the best experiences. They've fixed our garage refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer, stove, dishwasher, prior in-house refrigerator and even came out last year to replace the ice maker on our current in-house refrigerator (Whirlpool). I've even referred them to friends in the area. I called them today because the lights went out in the exact same refrigerator that they helped repair last year. The gentleman who answered the phone (not overly friendly) took down my contact information and the model number and told me he would call me back. I received a call back from them about an hour ago refusing to help because they don't "work on that model of Whirlpool refrigerators". No offer to come out and take a look before refusing, or really any attempt to help at all. It is odd to me that you replaced the ice maker last year but this year you don't work on that model...I always try to support small and local businesses but this doesn't feel like the appropriate way to stay in business to me. No worries, I'll take my business elsewhere but I'm disappointed.

  I am so pleased and happy with my new refrigerator that I purchased from Wisman’s they had great selection to choose from and the customer service was great. The delivery guys went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. I highly recommend Wismans

  I try to do the right thing and buy an appliance from a local small family owned business instead of a big box store Hunter. The salesman said oh yeah we’ll work with you on delivery time because I said no one could be there until 3:30 PM. he said they might have to wait on you a little bit but that’s fine. We’ll work with you. Delivery calls today. Will be there between 12 and 2 PM. I said I won’t be there till 330. I called the office talk to Hunter. Hunter doesn’t care Hunter only cared that he made the sale. Hunter says he never said that they could deliver at 3:30 going to Home Depot. Welcome to the new generation of family. Nobody cares anymore.

  Wisman came out & replaced a bad heating element on our Samsung dryer end of last year. Worked great, good service & decent price. Was happy to support a local business that generation before me had used. 6 months later, our dryer was overheating, leading me to ask Wisman's if the heating element was bad or could have been installed incorrectly. Asked an honest question & received a response "There is no way that it was installed correctly, and if the unit worked upon the fix, that it was installed correctly". I was frustrated there wasn't any desire to help me further. I called another local company, and they described that the heating element was grounded, leading to overheat. Essentially, the original element was in fact, installed incorrectly. I called Wismans & put in a compliant asking to be reimbursed for the trouble. The bright spot is that the lady who I interacted with on the phone was very helpful & said they would escalate it to her manager. The service manager called me a few nights around 5:30/6PM which I'm unavailable with my family. When I returned the call next day, I was met with the same resistance of "our manager has tried calling you multiple times every day to reach you" which was & still is not true. I haven't received a call from the service manager for a week at this point, which tells me that I won't be using Wisman's anymore and why I'm leaving this review. I do appreciate their initial service (although incorrect), but ongoing customer service & demeanor towards customers was very poor. I'll be using a competitor for future needs.
