We ordered a dishwasher online for delivery to our local store on sale. The order went thru but then we received notification the dishwasher was delivered to a store around 2 hours away. We tried to have it delivered to our local store and were told we could not, we would either need to drive the two hours or cancel the sale and repurchase the dishwasher at a much higher price. The store was very unhelpful and said they could only guarantee an appliance to be delivered to a store if you ordered the appliance in person. If you order online and select a store then they have the right to deliver to ANY store within a 2 hour drive. This is crazy and I will not be purchasing any appliances at Lowes going forward.

They were the only one in the City of Fort Wayne that carried the circuit breaker I needed on the shelf, and then I had asked if a young man could please go get me some drywall screw because I have 1 leg and it is a big deal for this old man to walk the distance of the store and back, bless his heart he went and got the screws for me with a super smile and then thanked me, I had to let him know it was me that needed to do the thanking, not him......this store on Lima Rd is my new go to!!

Lowe’s on Lima road bad customer service the worst I have ever seen. Placed an order for a $3000 new front door on 7/6/26 the ship date was supposed to be 8/17/26. On that day it changed to delayed. We called on the 19th spoke to Gerald. He said he would email the company and ask when the door would be shipped. He didn’t get back with us so we called on the 20th. He then tells us the company never received the order. We asked if he could just fax them the paperwork he gave us so they could fulfill the order that way. We went in on Aug 22nd he took a copy of the order and sent to them. They then tell him we have to reorder the entire door. Refund our purchase losing our 18 mo financing. Plus the door was more money now. Lowes agreed to make the door the same price as originally paid and were going to call the cc company to see about the special financing. Then they had problems refunding the door. So they decided to say the door came in damaged and emailed the company a copy of the original paperwork. They claimed it was all taken care of and we would get the door 9/14/26. On 9/1/26 it shows the door is canceled and we are being refunded the money . No phone call no explanation. We called and talked to Noah and he says they will call today. Mind you the main store manager is only in 2 days a week according to an employee at the customer service desk . So I don’t know if we will get our new front door. But I will never order from Lowe’s again. And we even called the corporate office which claimed they would email management but never got a call from any manager about the BS we have dealt with. Sounds like the manager should be there more than 2 days a week !
