I normally do not take the time to write reviews for good or bad service, but I feel the need to do so in regards to RPM Pools. All I have to say is amazing!! They have helped me out on some upgrades to my pool a few times over the last couple years. Great products and service. The reason for the review is the fast that they help after the initial services. Anytime I have a question or need they are quick to help. To me this is why I will continue to use them and send all family and friends their way. Thank you again to the team at RPM. Keep up the good work.

Johnnie and his crew were great. They built us a beautiful pool. He is very reasonably priced. He kept us informed through out the whole process. He was very hands on and was there working everyday. I never had to call and ask him where he was. He listened to our wishes and built us the pool we asked for. He and his crew were very polite and repectful of our property. Always willing to answer our questions and concerns.

RPM construction did a great job on our new pool Liner. They do quality work and show up when they say they will! The owner was easy to get ahold of and answered all my questions along the way. I would highly recommend RPM!
Frequently Asked Questions About Residential Pool Masters
How long does it take to install a fiberglass pool?
Fiberglass pool installation typically takes 2 to 4 weeks from excavation to completion, depending on site conditions and permitting. The process includes careful planning, permit acquisition, excavation, installation, plumbing, backfilling, and decking work. At RPM Construction & Pools, we handle all phases including permit coordination for smooth project completion in Evansville.
What are the most common signs of a pool leak?
Common signs include water loss exceeding normal evaporation (more than 1/4 inch daily), wet spots around the pool, cracks in the shell or deck, and increased chemical usage. At RPM Construction & Pools, our leak detection services identify the source and provide structural or equipment repairs to restore your pool's integrity.
Does a new pool increase home value in Evansville?
Yes, a professionally installed pool can enhance home value and appeal, especially in markets where outdoor living is desirable. Custom pool construction creates functional recreational spaces that attract buyers. At RPM Construction & Pools, we design pools that complement your property and lifestyle for long-term investment.
What's the difference between pool resurfacing and renovation?
Resurfacing replaces the interior finish of the pool to repair damage or update appearance, while renovation involves comprehensive updates including modern features, equipment upgrades, and aesthetic enhancements. RPM Construction & Pools offers complete pool renovation services to transform existing pools with improved functionality and contemporary design.
When should I replace my pool liner?
Pool liners typically need replacement every 7 to 12 years, or sooner if you notice fading, wrinkles, tears, or frequent leaks. Regular inspections help identify wear before major damage occurs. At RPM Construction & Pools, we provide professional pool liner replacement as part of our comprehensive repair services.
What types of decorative concrete work best for pool decks?
Stamped concrete, colored concrete, and specialty finishes are popular for pool decks because they offer durability, slip resistance, and aesthetic appeal. These options handle moisture and temperature changes well. At RPM Construction & Pools, we install decorative concrete that enhances safety and complements your outdoor living space.
How often should pool equipment be serviced or replaced?
Pool pumps and filters should be serviced annually and typically last 8 to 15 years, while heaters may need replacement every 10 to 15 years depending on usage. Regular maintenance extends equipment life and ensures optimal operation. RPM Construction & Pools provides professional installation and replacement of all pool equipment for efficient performance.
Can you add a waterfall to an existing pool?
Yes, waterfalls can be added to existing pools as part of outdoor remodeling or renovation projects. Installation involves integrating plumbing, pumps, and decorative elements into your current setup. At RPM Construction & Pools, we design and install custom waterfall features that enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
What permits are required for pool construction in Indiana?
Indiana pool construction typically requires building permits, electrical permits, and sometimes zoning or setback approvals depending on local regulations. Permit requirements vary by municipality. At RPM Construction & Pools, we handle permit acquisition as part of our custom pool installation process to ensure full compliance in Evansville and surrounding areas.
Why is chemical balancing important for pool maintenance?
Proper chemical balancing prevents algae growth, protects pool surfaces and equipment, and ensures safe swimming conditions by maintaining pH, chlorine, and alkalinity levels. Imbalanced water can cause skin irritation and costly damage. RPM Construction & Pools offers regular maintenance services including chemical balancing to keep your pool in optimal condition year-round.
What's involved in seasonal pool opening and closing?
Opening includes removing covers, reconnecting equipment, balancing chemicals, and inspecting for damage, while closing involves draining lines, winterizing equipment, and securing covers. These steps protect your pool during off-season months. At RPM Construction & Pools, our seasonal services ensure your pool is ready for use or properly protected through Indiana winters.
How does custom pool design work from start to finish?
Custom design begins with a consultation to understand your style, budget, and site conditions, followed by design development, permit coordination, and professional installation. At RPM Construction & Pools, we work closely with clients through every phase to create personalized pool installations tailored to individual preferences and property layouts in Evansville.
