Today was the second encounter I had with an employee working morning side around 8am. This employee, whenever I ask for assistance is sarcastic and demeaning. Today, August 25th at approximately 8am, I was shopping and searching for the daisies which I could not find after looking. As typical, there wasn’t anyone knowledgeable in the Lawn and Garden area, so I walked back inside to find an associate to page someone from Lawn and Garden to assist.
I stated that I was searching for a particular flower/plant, showed her a photo of such and she says instantly, with a chuckle, “Do you not know what flowers look like?” I stated, of course I know what flowers look like but I need help finding this item. She then chuckles again and says, “they are outside”! Well, obviously I know they are outside, which is why I said I needed help in Lawn and Garden while pointing to the outdoor area. Then I responded with, well I know they’re outside, but you have a forest of flowers outside and I need help finding these particular ones.
The disrespect and demeaning comments were offensive and childish, especially for a woman who appeared to be in her 60-70s. This associate was working in the paint aisle around this time, the aisle over from aisle one. To not enforce customer service respect to all customers, is this company way of being complicit. If customers aren’t allowed to say and do whatever, neither should the people who work for Lowe’s.

I purchased a top of the line Toro push mower August 18th 2026 for same day delivery I got a text saying my lawnmower was delivered I got landscaping blocks and sand. They said it would be 24 hours to change the order and I needed to protect the order I got from the elements to put it in the garage or I would be charged for it. I canceled my order for the lawnmower . So the next day when they came to pick up the wrong order, they said they were there to pickup a lawnmower. I just wanted to cry.

I was truly impressed by the service I received at this Lowe's, which isn’t always the case. Leon had already clocked out for the day, though I was unaware of this. We were engaged in a conversation about the good old days when the best quality paint cost $33. He helped me select the right paint and even checked with customer service for the price. Shortly after, I approached the customer service counter and noticed he was also paying for his purchase, which made me realize he wasn’t on the clock. His pleasant demeanor made it easy not to notice! Additionally, Piper was very friendly, along with the young lady at the guest counter. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Update: As I was heading to my truck, Austin observed that I was having difficulty lifting the five-gallon paint bucket to place it in the back of my truck. Without hesitation, he quickly came over to lend me a hand. Thank you All 🙏
