I rented a unit, 4 months later, the price doubled. Yes, they state the rental is month to month, but they tell you this is based on market demand pricing. When asked how that is determined, they can't answer it. When asked how the same unit at the same company only 18 minutes down the same street is over 100 dollars cheaper per month, they can't answer that either. I asked about paying in advance to get my same rate, I'm told that it's not an option, but online, you can pay months in advance to get a lower rate. I've also called in and complained about some people living out of their car in the facility and they are still there. They've been there the entire time I've rented from them. The sit in an suv outside their unit. The other day as I drove by, it appeared a woman was on top of another inside the vehicle with the windows down. Stay away from this facility. They tell you things but cannot provide reasonable explanation for them. Market demand pricing.....I bet it never goes down when the market demand goes down. If there is an open space in the facility, there is no reason demand pricing should be double, and from what I see, there are open spaces throughout. They push the blame onto corporate and claim they aren't privileged to certain information. But, when you sign up, they have you stay on the phone with them while they send you a link for a survey and ask you to give a 5 star review. Pretty pathetic. They don't send you a link after their hidden promotions expire and they tell you there is nothing they can do since that's market demand. That way they can get someone else in there and hope they accept the price gouge. I will tell everyone on every social media outlet, I'll leave reviews everywhere I can, I'll put up signs in the community, I'll post on all local chat boards. Customer service was able to look at my account and immediately state I have a 4 month price. Nowhere in my lease agreement did it say 4 months, nor was I told 4 months. I went from 130 month with insurance to 210 per month. 80 bucks monthly in this economy is a lot. There is nothing they can do for me, but they'll let a new customer have the rate I was given less than 20 minutes down the street. It's clear they just make it up as they go. Terrible way to do business. I've never left a negative review for a business on Google, but this is way too slimy not to warn people.
