Thursday, 05-14-2026: I bought some lumber and asked that it be cut to certain lengths. Nobody said anything about charging me for each cut, but when I checked out at the store, they charged me for each cut that was made with their saw. When I brought this up with the woman on the register, she was not very polite about it.

Zero Accountability for Property Damage I am beyond disappointed with the delivery and installation service from Lowe’s. While the washer arrived, the installers managed to damage my washer pan during the process. The "resolution" process has been a total nightmare: The 3rd Party Denial: Lowe’s sent a third-party claims adjuster who flat-out refused to cover the damage. Even after an appeal—complete with additional photos and a link to Lowe's own website showing exactly how the pan was compromised—they still denied the claim. Store Management Ghosting: I took the issue directly to the local Lowe’s store. They had me forward the entire email chain and promised that the store manager would review it and get back to me within a couple of days. Zero Follow-up: It has been well past the promised window. I sent a follow-up email to check on the status, and it has been met with total silence. It is unacceptable to put a customer through the ringer just to avoid fixing damage caused by your own installers. Lowe's talks a big game about customer service, but when they actually damage your home, they hide behind third parties and don't follow up. Avoid their installation services unless you're prepared to pay for the repairs yourself.

Horrible customer service (I blame Lowe’s not the employees). It’s obvious this company is cutting costs by relying almost entirely on AI, and it shows. I’m not against AI at all, but this is not how you use it. It should support real people, not replace them completely. Trying to reach a human is nearly impossible. When I finally did after a 40-minute hold, the call was dropped. Even in-store, there’s no real help available. This isn’t innovation. It’s neglect. Replacing your workforce and outsourcing everything while leaning heavily on poorly implemented AI is a bad business decision.

Better quality tools and wider selection than other places. It’s a massive store so when you inevitably don’t know where to find something it would be nice if the employees didn’t seem so annoyed when you ask.
