I recently received with a used car and the ignition key only worked when inserted in a certain orientation.
I called J & S, and the master technician, although unsure if the key was the actual issue, told me come by to see if he could cut a correct version of the key from a blank they had on site. He cut the new key so that it would work no matter which way it went into the ignition in just 5 minutes.
I paid $70.
I went back a few days later and he was able to cut two keys with built-in fobs that I bought from Amazon without error and for an amazing price, and I linked them up to my car myself.
In short, I had a great experience bringing my 2016 Nissan Versa to J & S for key duplication/correction services! The dealership was asking for $400+ for services I received for $80 here.

I called about getting my door lock changed and was told someone would be by that day. No one showed or called. I called back the next day asking for an update and the same guy gave me an attitude about me calling back and said that someone would be by when they were ready. It's been over a week now. Maybe they're good locksmiths but the guy who answers the phones isn't good at his job
I really hate to give 1 star reviews, but my overall experience warrants one star.
I first called needing to get two locks rekeyed for my thrift store on February 8th, at that time I was informed I was placed on the schedule, but nothing happened beyond that first call. Time got away from me and I realized this job never got completed, so I called again March 14th I was once again placed on the schedule and was informed someone would call me back - but nothing.
After multiple phone calls, speaking with several different employees, I finally pestered enough and was scheduled for March 17th. By March 20th the job was still not completed. (According to my phone records I called 7 times over the course of multiple days)
On March 21st at 12:45 they arrived to do the work. At 1:45 I received a phone call (one of only two calls I ever received from them) asking "when would be a good time to send someone out to do the job"...while one of their own staff were currently onsite doing the job. It is indicative to me that there is a major management issue.
I would have abandoned working with them back in February if they had not already, previous to me, rekeyed our entire building, so I, wrongfully, assumed it would be a quick and easy job for them to tackle the two locks that were not in the initial project.
I would love the opportunity to change my experience with J&S, but I struggle to see a future where I initiate that opportunity. I also want to believe I had a unicorn experience, but it certainly has left an impression.
