  I would give 0 stars if it were an option. I have purchased plenty from this store (Kildeer) in my lifetime but will not be spending my money here anymore. I recently went there to return an item that I purchased using my rewards (which I earned from spending quite a bit of money on a rug and various other items.) I asked the cashier, Joanie, if I could exchange or get a store credit since I used rewards and didn’t want to lose them. I was returning a daybed cover that did not fit properly. Joanie immediately became argumentative and said “No. If you use them, you lose them.” She was very sarcastic in her tone. I said that the daybed cover didn’t fit properly and that I had earned the rewards from a previous large purchase. She said “It’s not our fault that it doesn’t work.” Again, she used a very sarcastic tone. I said “Unbelievable” since I was shocked about the way she was speaking to a customer. She replied “Yes, it is unbelievable.” I asked to speak to a manager. He was able to give me a store credit but only after I suggested it so I wouldn’t lose my rewards. I was able to purchase some other items using them. I alerted the manager about the employee’s unacceptable behavior towards me and he said “Oh, you caught her at the end of her shift.” 🤷‍♀️😡

  Yesterday was my first time in the World Market in à few months. The store always looks very neat and clean, and the staff are helpful. However, yesterday I had one of the best customer service experiences that I have had in a very long time. I approached Mike for help regarding a cake platter with a ceramic bottom. À team member, Mike was gracious and immediately walked me over to the cake stand and pedestal and made sure that it was in perfect condition, carefully wrapped it, and then gave me great advice on an enamel Dutch oven I desperately needed. I purchased both items and Mike and I connected over à story he told me about how he makes his mother’s recipes and how they bring back memories of her and are nostalgic. Mike then proceeded to carry my 2 heavy purchases for me to the car with a smile. Thank you very much Mike for a great customer experience. I appreciate you. World Market, please take note.

  Lots of fun seasonal goods and food inventory from around the world. Alice is a lovely cashier.

  This is a terrible store. I usually love World Market, but this location is terrible. There is an employee Alice who is extremely rude. My mother who is a 60 year old woman and me were trying to grab something really quick on a Sunday so my mom could get her free gift. My mom had our 10 pound lhasa apso with in a closed carrier not loose. Alice angrily approached us and said the dog could hurt somebody despite the fact the dog was in a closed carrier. She started ranting that she was bit by a dog before. My mom and I put our stuff back and decided to not buy anything after this woman accosted us and humiliated us in a store. I asked to speak to the manager. He was beyond rude and not apologetic at all. The employee Alice interrupted our conversation to scream more and say I was lying. My mom and I had only come into this store to grab something and leave. The dog is small and in a carrier. We never throught this would turn into some scene with an employee who couldn’t mind her business. My mom couldn’t leave the dog in the car. I will never go to this location again. They weren’t understanding at all. The store was almost empty on a Sunday.
