- MMMandiJul 20, 20261.0Just made a special trip for some art supplies. The item was "reduced" as many of the simular items nearby were. Red tags clearly displayed under the items, no tags on the items. I did not think this would be a problem as they should be in the computer correctly. Assistant Manger was unhelpful, would not give the price, even when I told her she could go see it for herself she insisted that was not the process she had to follow. As she was unable to find the item in her tablet, she refused the price reduction. I ended up paying for my other items, (remember this is the one item I truly came for) and I am stunned I went thru this for a $6 transaction. Any other establishment would have honored the price and simply rang it up. It's not like I was trying to get one over on them. Simple over-ride to accomplish customer satisfaction and stand behind their own clearly shown (right under the product) price. Ridiculous. Gurnee Mills store.

It was so unprofessional and I will be back to talk to management. Cheryl, an old white woman, was berating another employee (much younger Hispanic girl) while she was trying to help another customer. She was screaming at her about putting stuff in a cart away and laughed at her while the girl was clearly uncomfortable. It was horrible and it’s obvious Cheryl is a miserable old woman. Managers need to intervene immediately and correct this behavior or get rid of her completely.
