This was the worst online pickup experience I’ve ever had.
I ordered this item twice, and both times it took much longer than the estimated delivery date. The second order ended up being almost a month later than the original ETA. The problem wasn’t that it was delayed—it had been sitting at Lowe’s because nobody staged it for pickup.
After waiting weeks, I called Lowe’s. They told me they couldn’t see anything beyond what I could already see in the app and told me to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer needed my PO number, so I had to call Lowe’s back to get it. After calling the manufacturer again, they told me the item had already been delivered to Lowe’s.
I called Lowe’s back, and they said, “It’s been here for a while. It just wasn’t staged.”
I drove to the store to pick it up, and after all of that, I still waited almost an hour for someone to bring my order out.
Calling Lowe’s is also frustrating. You have to get through the AI phone system just to talk to a person, and when you finally do, they tell you the same information that’s already in the app. Once an order is delayed, the app doesn’t even show an updated status, so you have no way of knowing what’s actually going on.
Delays happen, but this was a complete lack of communication and customer service from start to finish.

I always go here before any other improvement store. Always friendly staff and always very helpful. But this particular day there was an employee named Connie at the wentzville location that made me feel so welcome. She was knowledgeable and helped me make a hard decision about what color stain I needed. This employee is a keeper. I was having a horrible day but after my encounter with her which was a few minutes her kindness turned my day around. She was in the paint dept. AWSOME!

If you are a contractor and send someone to do a phone sell or pay by text do not send them here. It’s the only store in all St. Louis that doesn’t know what a phone sell is. Worst store by far. No help at all when loading items and no help to even PAY.

Updating 3 bathrooms, purchased and installed several toilet seats. Noticed one of the seats hinge screws (3) were stripped after installation. Returned the seat for a refund since it was defective. The "return specialist" stated since the seat was installed, it's now considered by Lowes to be a biohazzard product and can't be returned. I again mentioned the seat wasn't used and the only reason for returning it was that it is defective. He again stated the policy. I purchased the remaining items (vanities and faucets) at Home Depot to finish my updates.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
