  I contacted Fox Valley Environmental Pest Control (FVEPC) primarily to address an ant issue in the bedroom ceiling resulting from a slow roof leak. They were prompt in having their technician Marty out to address this problem. I appreciate the knowledge, expertise and professionalism shown by Marty. After assessing the situation, he discussed an action plan and implemented a solution addressing the ants in ceiling issue and treated other areas and the house perimeter as ants have been an issue which was not fully resolved in the past. He followed up as promised several weeks later for a second treatment in the ceiling. I ended up contracting for a one-year preventative service. Marty indicated he will contact me in early Fall for another preventative treatment and told me that if I should have any further issues with insects or mice, to call and he will come back out. Thus far we have had drought-like and then heavy rain conditions and no ants inside the house. Overall, I am very pleased with Marty and the service and highly recommend FVEPC to anyone in need of pest control services.

  I called initially for ant control. The technician quoted for only ants which seemed to resolve the issue. Then offered a broad pest control contract that initially said was only quarterly and could be cancelled then later said there was a $395 cancellation fee. I continued with the service since I had seen positive results so far. When I contacted about two other pests, I was told I would to pay additional costs as they were not covered under the contract. After speaking with family who used other businesses, Fox Valley appears grossly overpriced and nickel and dimed me through the individual pests. Overall results were mixed, the initial ant problem was solved, but other mitigation efforts seemed to last only several days at a time and ended quickly. When I called to cancel the service, the office was not interested in input and did not care to make any attempts to retain a customer or learn why they were losing a customer. Positives.. they were prompt and responded quickly, but I would need a technician at my house three times a week to justify the costs and ensure effectiveness.

  I have Steve Forsythe come every year. Punctual and never leaves a mess. If I have issues he deals with it in a timely matter
