  Looking for a business to remove 3 trees in the back of our yard can be a process but when you ask for referrals that is the best way to go. Not only was I able to get some I was able to search further through social media like here. Referred to Tomax Tree Service. Tom came out and accessed the trees noting utility lines but the trees were situated with no cause of concern. I mentioned the area floods a lot and stays wet for weeks depending on weather conditions. Tom did mention the one tree, Maple, was stressed from standing in it as I had asked him about the bark. It was something that concerned me. He was able to set me up for the trees to be removed (and stumps) removed the same day he visited. And his price was reasonable and in my ballpark. I got lucky because my removal day was pushed up to an earlier day. His crew was on time and those trees were gone. Now considering my trees were not as mature as some noted here, our concern was due to flooding and the health of the trees. The back is no longer swamp land. I am in the process of getting some mature trees cared for. Clean up was excellent and my son mentioned they didn't waste time. Thanks again Tomax and crew!

  I was completely satisfied with my choice of Tomax Tree Service for my project of removing three large trees and a row of tall evergreen bushes. Tom was great to work with from beginning to end and his teams were exceptional. Tom was responsive and answered all of my questions. All three trees were very close to my house so I was a little worried. But the teams knew exactly what to do to get the job done in a safe and controlled manner. I also had the tree stump grinding done too. I did not realize how important clean up is. The Tomax team was very thorough in that part of the project starting with the tree removal all the way through to the stump grinding. I did have three estimates beforehand and found Tomax pricing to be reasonable. So glad that I picked Tomax!

  Excellent work – professional, safe, and great cleanup I hired Tomax to remove a large, dying oak tree that was dangerously close to my house and garage. From the estimate to the final cleanup, the experience was top-notch. The crew showed up on time, fully equipped, and walked me through their plan before starting. They took great care to protect my landscaping and used a bucket truck and ropes to lower branches safely – no damage to my roof or fences. What really impressed me was the cleanup. They chipped every branch, raked the entire area, and even used a magnet to pick up stray nails. You could hardly tell they’d been there except for the missing tree. The price was fair, and they provided a written quote upfront with no hidden fees. I’ve already recommended them to two neighbors. If you need a tree removed safely and professionally, I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Tomax removed old crab apple tree for me in April 2026. They were knowledgeable, had EXCELLENT price, removed in a timely manner, didn't upsell, and cleaned up well. What more could you ask?

  Tom and his team at Tomax Tree Service were excellent to work with. Their knowledge about trees really shows, and the quality of the work was outstanding. The crew went the extra mile and the cleanup was absolutely perfect when they finished. 100% professional all the way. Highly recommend.
