  Interesting place. It's supposed to be furniture store but the highlight is groceries, snacks and candies from all over tge world.

  Since moving to Chicago in May, this is my "go to" store to find out-of-the-ordinary decorative pieces for my apartment. Some stores, that will remain nameless, offer some furniture that's interesting. But if you miss shopping at the old Pier One, this place is the next best thing. Some things are a little pricey, but, in my opinion, you're paying for imported authenticity while still able to find deals at a reasonable price point. I love spending time browsing their eclectic inventory. I nabbed this hand carved elephant today--a beautifully crafted piece imported from India. Also pictured are some candles, bowls and pourpurii for my coffee table, and a contemporary wood sculpture for my kitchen countertop. Happy shopping!

  Walking in, the store immediately feels like a mix of global treasure hunt and home‑goods playground. Every section has something different to pull you in — imported furnishings, decor pieces, dishes, greeting cards, and shelves of food items from all over the world. It’s the kind of place where you come in for one thing and end up wandering through half the store because something catches your eye every few feet. The hot sauce selection is especially fun. Rows of bottles from different countries, ranging from mild and flavorful to the kind of heat that makes you question your life choices. It’s one of the better curated assortments you’ll find in a general retail store. Staff are friendly and approachable, quick to help without hovering. It’s easy to ask a question, get a recommendation, or just browse without interruption. Overall, it’s a great spot to explore — part home goods, part international market, part “I didn’t know I needed this until I saw it.”
