  The showroom was clean and bright and the salesperson was friendly, very patient, and helpful while we decided on two recliners and the fabrics we wanted.

  Had an awesome experience with John and the staff. There was no high pressure tactics. Just genuine respect for me. Would definitely go to La-Z-Boy again.

  Nick did a great job helping me out today to purchase a Meyer Ottoman even though the fabric I needed was technically out of stock online. He was efficient while simultaneously making sure I understood every step of the process.

  We worked with Nick (Dean) at the store, looking for a recliner sofa. We wanted to see and try sofas in person because the pictures you see online (most brands) might not be what you actually are looking for and the descriptions do not give you the same certainty about how the sofa actually feels (how plush/firm is "medium" actually). Nick showed us all options they had available in store, gave us honest specs, and wasn't pushy about one item vs the other, or trying to upsell us. We were open to either a manual or electric reclining system, but the overall feel and practicality was more important. We were initially thinking about a more expensive one with electric reclining and all, but ended up with a manual recliner that felt like a better fit for our needs (as mentioned, Nick wasn't trying to upsell, just honest assistance). He was very pleasant to work with. I would generally recommend people check these sort of items in stores, it's worth the little extra over large stores where you have to hope what you thought it will be (based on online pics) turns out what you get.

  Terrible service from my local store. I wanted to purchase furniture for an apartment I am buying in another city. Went into my local store. I explained the situation to a local sales rep who was nice and said she had to look up the service address at the new place. She came back to say that since the furniture wouldn't come from their warehouse that she couldn't help. Turned on her heel and walked away. No offer to show me items. No offer to contact a store near my new place if I picked out something. No offer to do anything to help. I went to LaZBoy because it is a national company. This can't be the only time that an of town order has come up. Id love to tell you the name of the local sales rep so she can receive direct feedback but can't because she never introduced herself and wore no name tag. I suggest sales reps be counseled to help with out of town sales.
