We began with an 80 dollar storage unit and Extra Space Storage slowly increased it to 292. Supposedly there is a free month of storage but we never got our free month. I included some images of our unit's condition that was already completely falling apart when we walked in the first time and unfortunately this was their only room of this size available. We did not see the condition of the unit before signing up for it online, we thought the pictures of the room on the website was going to match the room, at least in cleanliness. Completely inadequate and unacceptable conditions for customers especially when ESS loves to hike the price up EVERY MONTH claiming that they have done more upgrades and upkeep, Where is it? Because there are bricks in the hallways that are bulging out and can be easily moved by anybody with hands.
There are laws that protect ESS from damages to your property and its important to read the fine print before signing up to put your stuff in a dirty and decrepit storage unit.
