I purchased a new chainsaw from this Lowes, buying the more expensive $400 model because it should be better than the others. The chainsaw was defective with a rough start and bent blade. On the same day that I purchased it, I attempted to take it back to exchange it for a working one and was basically told "tough luck". I bought a brand new chainsaw that didn't work and the only thing that the customer service lady could do for me is tell me to call the manufacturer. This is fraud/a scam selling defective products and taking no responsibility to make it right. I will be taking this to small claims court because if any regular person did this, you could get them arrested for fraud AND sue them.
I will never be shopping at Lowes again, I can't trust that anything bought there would work and the workers disregard the return policy. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

Carbondale IL told me I can save 20% if I opened a Credit card. I was about to make a 700 dollar purchase with a few dewalt tools that were on sale. (Long story short) my 20% was equal to about 70 dollars at the end thx to the sales.
THE card service was down at the time of purchase and i was told a gift card was going to be sent to the store.
This store will make you open a card under the guise of saving money and will steal the difference.

We bought a tankless water heater online and had to return it because our builder, upon inspection, realized it wasn't large enough. We then purchased another from Lowes, along with about $20,000 worth of appliances and other items for building our home. When we returned the unused water heater, still sealed with plastic straps, it was past the 30-day return window, which we didn't know. The cashier appeared understanding and willing to process the return but needed to check with his manager, who was dismissive and rude, refusing to assist. If no Lowe's will cooperate, I will never shop there again. This is absolutely ridiculous. For comparison, we've had no issues returning items at Home Depot during our home-building process.
