The initial visit to a lowes store in Arlington heights, iIl. Was excellent. Everything after that was sub standard. I can't believe a large company is so bad with customer service. From the person that measures the door,to the person that gives the estimate Aftwr several phone calls to customer service, im still waiting for a price.. it's been almost a month..I guess they don't want my business.

My wife and I went to Lowe’s to browse and enjoy some time out. We were immediately set upon by a young man trying act like he was just starting a conversation. Then he proceeded to try to sell us some service plan for our furnace. I said I was not interested and he kept trying g to talk to us. He finally relented and said he was just doing his job.
Soon afterward we were set upon by a guy who was very insistent trying to sell us some other service. He would not leave us alone and my wife said to him “we really just want to shop”. He made some comment about shoppers which we did not understand and finally walked away.
We have previously spent a lot of money at Lowe’s and enjoy going to the store. However we left right after the two encounters and more than likely won’t be back. Why does Lowe’s have sales people bothering shoppers when they obviously are going there to in shop?
Very disappointed in Lowe’s.

Every time I go into lowe's it seems like every every employee, minus the cashiers tend to avoid me. And the manager rick is very dismissive and does not greet and or make eye contact with anyone. If I didn't have to go to lowe's, I wouldn't go.But sadly I do.

Ordered a railing online. The pymt. card on file was no longer valid, therefore it wanted a⁹nother form of payment. I tried all my cards but they weren't accepted. The manager finally decided that I should buy a gift card for the purchase. Well, that didn't work either! They then canceled the online order and I was able to purchase with my credit card. After receiving my bank statement I saw 3 charges, 2 for 45.97 and one for 50.49. They said they would cancel the gift card...they didn't! And I was overcharged for the item by $5.00 for an in-store purchase! Customer service was useless and so was talking to the store manager. No resolution on lowes part.,I had to dispute all the charges with my bank. Worst costumer service ever!!! Buyer beware!!!!
