I have had aptive's premium service for the last year and at first they worked well and diligently sprayed and clean the area. After a few services they started to do the bare minimum of cleaning and I was seeing more bugs and spider webs. When trying to cancel I got a very rude employee who would not allow me to cancel even though I am the account holder.

Signed up and immediately regretted it. Our cats kill more bugs than their products do. Paying $89/month and they show up every 3 months. They weren't proactive by setting a bait box and looking for areas where rodents could get in, ended up having rats in the crawlspace and now my ductwork needs to be replaced costing over $1k to fix. When I told them about it they set a few traps at the entrance to the crawlspace but couldn't get in there because they said they aren't allowed to. They promised the landscaping would also be treated but I have watched them and they don't treat it. Beware, it's a waste of money and I have to find time to call and cancel when they're open and we'll see how that goes.

Techs are nice, but absolutely the worst company I’ve dealt with in a while, unfortunately I signed up for a year before I found out how awful they are. You can’t ever talk to anyone unless they are overseas in a call center and they aren’t much help at all. I have a bug problem they haven’t remedied in the year, scheduling issues constantly, no one who actually cares enough to help. Your salesman will be slick though, then once you’re signed up he will block your calls. Stay clear.

Stop training your door to door sales team like this. These poor kids are going to get into legal trouble or worse.
We actually need pest control services and have been talking about hiring someone. When your salesman knocked on my door the first time I asked for a card to look into the company he said he was the card…. I said no thanks. He came back two other times to knock loudly until someone answered. One time was around 8pm. I finally had to call the police to trespass him from our property. Nobody buys from pushy salesman anymore, you lost a sale because of crappy training….

Terrible customer service and company. Would give zero stars if possible. Can't even talk to someone from the company, can only contact a service center in Asia somewhere. Signed on in early May. Was told that we would get 1 month visits throughout the summer. The salesperson indicated that we would get a very thorough walkthrough: ants, white flies, mosquitos, wasps, rats/mice, etc... he would look for and take care of everything. Inside and out. Also said that if we had any issues, just call and they would come by within 24 hrs. I wished I would have recorded our conversation as what he said was not true, and he did not follow-up with anything. I expected the initial visit to be an exhaustive search and investigative venture to identify any issues, along with reported concerns. Not even close.
The sales person left after I had signed on and had nothing to do with the initial walk-through. The tech showed up without any direction as to what he was supposed to do. He walked around, got rid of some wasp nests (missed a few), did some light spraying, walked through house, sprayed the interior corners and was ready to leave in under 30 minutes. I asked about the garage. Oh...ok, yeah, he'd check that and treat it. What about mosquitos? That wasn't in my contract. Oh, yes it was. Did I want mosquito spray and traps? Why wouldn't I? What about the rats? "Normally we don't put down rat traps until they are seen". What? We KNOW they're in the area. But, I thought I'd just go with that for now and see how things went for a month. 6 weeks later, the white flies never disappeared, we still had ants, and even recently caught a rat in a trap that I put out myself. Just this morning, had ants inside the house, again, and for the last couple of weeks, they have been all over and around our sidewalks and driveway. Had they been here within 4-5 weeks, I wouldn't have these issues. Then, we received a notice that our next visit that was scheduled for June 16th, was now rescheduled for June 24th, THEN, it was rescheduled for June 30th! Evidently due to them being too busy? Almost two months between service at the worst time of year for most pests?
To make it worse, our grandkids were visiting and couldn't play on the sidewalk because of the ants, so I called (the overseas center) on June 13th and requested a visit ASAP: They were able to get me an appt between noon-4 on the 15th. Tech calls at 8 am to come by. I said no, the grandkids (and extra dogs) were still here, wouldn't leave for a couple of hours, that he was supposed to be here in the afternoon (or sometime after 11 am). He said he'd come by that afternoon between 12-4, then called after 4 pm, apologized, and said he couldn't be there until closer to 5 because he had been sent out to a remote location and couldn't get back in time. By then we had given up and had left the house, so he said he'd reschedule us for the next morning. Poor guy sounded beat, but he was trying. This morning, no calls, no visit, so I had to call Asia (their "customer service" center, because I can't call a local number, or did I already mention that?!) again, to complain. They showed that I no appt until the 30th? Crazy. The rep was able to get me an appt sometime between 8 am and 5 pm tomorrow. So now I get to cancel all of my plans AGAIN for an entire day while I wait for someone to call and show up.
Admittedly, the tech(s) has(have) been nice, seem to be very knowledgeable, but he (they) sure seem to be hung out to dry: Not sure if they're spread far too thin, or not getting the help they need, so this complaint really isn't about him, it's about the company. If the company is that busy, then quit signing on new customers. If it wasn't for that $199 "penalty", I'd be cancelling my contract now. We'll give them a couple of months to make it right, and if not, I'll gladly pay that fee to get rid of them. Don't sign a contract with this company. You will regret it.

Why am I still seeing pests after my first treatment?
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
How much does professional pest control cost?
Our professional pest control plans start as low as $49 to $55 per month for our Basic plan, depending on your location. We offer three primary tiers—Basic, Pro, and Premium—designed to fit different levels of protection needs and budgets.
Do you offer same-day pest control services?
Yes, depending on current technician availability. If you call before noon, we can often provide same-day service for urgent pest issues.
How soon can a technician come out for an emergency?
We strive for 24 to 48-hour response times. For emergencies like a yellow jacket nest or indoor roach sightings, we prioritize your call in our daily schedule.
Do you spray both the inside and outside of the house?
Yes, standard service covers both. We focus on the exterior to stop pests at the source and treat the interior (baseboards/under sinks) to eliminate any that have already entered.
What areas are included in a "perimeter" treatment?
A perimeter treatment covers 3 feet up the foundation and 3 feet out into the yard. We also treat windowsills, door frames, and eaves.
How do I get rid of an ant infestation in my kitchen?
To stop ants, we use "transferable" baits. Workers carry the bait back to the queen, killing the entire colony rather than just the ants you see on the counter.
What is the best treatment for German cockroaches?
German roaches require a combination of baiting, insect growth regulators (IGRs), and sanitation. They are resilient, so 2–3 follow-up visits are often required for total elimination.
Is pest control safe for children and infants?
Yes, we prioritize family-safe applications. By focusing on the exterior and using low-toxicity indoor treatments, we minimize exposure. We recommend keeping children out of treated areas for 30–60 minutes until dry.
What is your "Pest-Free Guarantee"?
Our guarantee means if the pests return between scheduled visits, we return for free. We stay until the problem is solved.
Do you offer free re-treatments?
Yes, all of our recurring plans include unlimited free re-treatments for covered pests.
Why am I still seeing bugs after my first service?
This is the "flush out" period. The treatment is driving pests out of their hiding spots. They will die off shortly after coming into contact with the product.
Why is the pest problem getting worse?
This usually happens with ants and roaches as they are attracted to our baits. This "surge" is a sign that the colony is actively feeding on the treatment.
How can I tell if a treatment was successful?
Success is measured by a steady decrease in sightings and finding dead insects rather than live ones.
Do you guarantee 100% elimination?
We guarantee to control and manage populations to the point where they do not infest your living space. No one can stop every single bug from ever entering, but we ensure they don't stay.
