  This started over a year ago, and Thermador has yet to provide a factory trained technician to solve our noise problem. Do not buy Thermador in Teton Valley. No response for a week, other than to say they are sending a tech, who refused to come as he was not trained and did not have the equipment to deal with flamable refirgerant. They should not be allowed to sell appliances (expensive ones at that) without the ability to take care of them. Customer service sounds good but no actionable results. If you listen to the video of the noise it is muted by the transfer, it's annoying. I called Thermador for the second case on 8-3, they said they would get back to me, silence so far 8-18. My question of their representative today was "does Thermador have a factory trained technician within 100 miles?", the answer was "no". Before we bought the Thermador 48" freezer fridge a Ferguson representative said there were several trained technicians in the valley. No action yet from Therm or Ferguson, not sure where I can post a Thermador only review but that would be a zero stars (not so for Sub Zero!!) Ferguson is talking but no action. Last year we purchased several Thermador products for our new house in Driggs, including a 48" fridge/freezer with 4 pull out freezer drawers. Was marvelous to start but developed a noise. Backing up a step when looking at the product line I asked in the show room if Thermador had qualified service in the area and was told "yes, several". Ha. The noise was not huge but annoying based on the price. I called the company service line and was given a case number, but could not get anyone to come do service. Finally they contacted a local company who was not factory trained, but at least showed up. This started in August and the tech got here in February, and could not find the noise. This summer the noise increased. Check out the video. He came back and thought the vibration was calmed by putting a piece of wood under the compressor. To his credit he tried to call for company assistance but the techs were unavailable (training I hope). It was clear a day later the stick did not do the trick. I called and opened a new case number several days ago and have not heard a peep. Buy Sub Zero not Thermador. This is mainly on Thermador, but also on Ferguson, they sell the stuff without factory support. Ugh.

  Stopped in to the Idaho falls location (30 min from home) to find a by appointment only sign, I called the number to see if we could get an appointment and he said to just go through the supply store. The lady in the showroom came to the door, rolled her eyes and told us no one could help us today at all. They must not need anymore new customers.😡
