- TATed Aschenbrenner2 days ago1.0Still no joy. Over 6 weeks past the dishwasher first leaking. Had to threaten litigation to even get a call back back. They are still stalling. Assurant, Inc. is the partner that handles protection plans, extended warranties and support services for Lowe's Companies, Inc. they are deep in the middle of this. Lowes Store #0397 Major Dishwasher Install Problem & Lack of Warranty Service Lowe's Companies, Inc. As of this date and time the problem has not been addressed, To my or my wife's satisfaction. -An extended warranty on an appliance is insurance, if there is a problem it should be repaired or replaced within the warranty period. Timeline: -Bosch Dishwasher leaked after about 4 years, still fully under 5 year warranty. -Appliance Repair Person could not remove dishwasher said it was our problem to remove it. We had originally paid to have Lowe's own installers do the install. -An email back to us from Lowes said our dishwasher was "Improperly installed". -Attempt to return Dishwasher was declined even though improper installation from day one. -So far we had to order a new dishwasher with install cost and a new warranty. -$1200.00 Bill for dishwasher removal after floor demolition and floor repair on ceramic tile. -I will not go into other damage issues here. -Ted Aschenbrenner Manassas Virginia 20109 Keywords Below are appliances products names or contractor terms etc. that could be relevant in doing due diligence on purchasing. I looked lost, and a woman down by the lumber section asked me if I needed help finding anything. She gave me directions to the ladders, which I started looking at. While I was there, trying to understand how the ladder worked (Little Giant 22'), a gentleman that was sweeping up the aisle asked if I needed any help. I asked him how it worked, explained what I wanted it to do, and he helped me figure it out, get it set up the way I was hoping it would work, and held it up so I could take pictures of it for my coworkers. For a late night, close to closing, I felt like the associates really went out of their way to ensure I got the answers I was looking for, and it is super appreciated!
