Ordered a dishwasher and range almost 3 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems and delays trying to get them. First, I ordered online and after checking out, I realized the free install promo they were advertising had been removed from my receipt, so I went to the store to get it fixed. Three people at the Customer Service counter could not figure it out and I spent an hour waiting for them to re-order it with the free install promotion. Finally, a week later, they schedule the dishwasher install on memorial Day. I stay home all Memorial Day waiting for the install. When they finally show up the entire dishwasher is smashed up and damaged from shipping. I’ve also had two delays on the delivery of the range. I went into the store again and had to spend another hour waiting for them to try to figure out how to fix the order. Here I am another week later, still no range still no dishwasher. They also still don’t know how to get me the free install promo that was a Memorial Day special. No one in the store seems to have any clue how to work their system or how to fix problems

Ordered a $500 item for online pickup, waited 5 hours for an update, drove to the West Des Moines store, waited another 20 minutes for them to check if it was in stock. It was not, despite the system saying they had 4 of them. I switched the order to the Jordan Creek location, who said they had 3 in stock. They told me to pull my van up for pickup, where I waited for another 10 minutes to tell me they also didn't have it in stock. After 2 hours of waiting and driving, I had to cancel the order. I don't know what the deal is, but I'm not planning on making any big purchases from Lowe's any time soon.

I recently (last week) bought a refrigerator from Home depot and needed it delivered by the promise date they set in my order. well, long story short, then failed and kept extending the date further and further out for delivery. I finally tried Lowes and not only did the manager help me out and match the price, but offered next day delivery! VERY professional and courteous person I talked to! She really relaxed me since I was extremely worried. Just like a nurse when someone is in the hospital! Due to my experience with this Jordan Creek Lowes, and the manager , Britney, I will definitely, DEFINITELY dump home depot in the future and solely shop at lowes!! thanks Britney and Lowes!

Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Menards. Worst customer service of any of the major home improvement stores. Bought a bad batch of quickcrete concrete mix that was almost all aggregate with minimal Portland cement. Tried to make it work for a small slab pour but due to how much aggregate there was I was unable to float or form any edges. The slab also crumbled later due to no cement. Out of hundreds if not thousand bags over the last twenty years, I’ve never had this happen before. Went back to the store to get a refund and they reported that because the bags were opened, they can’t refund. Despite the pictures and video evidence of the defective concrete mix. The only way to tell that the mix is defective is to open the bag but once you do that you can’t return it? Store manager was unprofessional and could care less. Luckily was only 60 dollars worth of material but will no longer be shopping at Lowe’s because of this.
