Scheduled them to pickup our mower for a tuneup. The first time, we were stood up, had to call and ask why our mower wasn’t picked up, they apologized and sent someone the next day. No big deal. A week or two later, they’d returned it to my mom’s house, after we updated our address twice (we knew this would be a problem as they tried dropping my mom’s mower of at our house, later returning it to her old address.) Still wouldn’t have been a big deal. after spending $800 on a new electrical harness and tuneup we were only able to mow the yard once. Now, it’s no longer working and we’ll have to send it back in (on our dime) and pay more. Perhaps we’ll be able to use it yet again this summer. They could have offered to pick our mower up for free next time they were in the area, I’d have respected that but all these little annoyances, lack of communication and inability to negotiate have completely changed my opinion of this place and once this is over we’ll likely have to find somewhere else to take our equipment. Edit in response: my husband called twice and spoke to someone both times. I can screen shot his call log, if that would help. He last spoke to someone 5/4. He specifically asked if we’d have to pay to have it picked up and was told BOTH TIMES, YES, another $80. If we’d been told it was free, why would we have hesitated to have it picked up? As far as multiple people and machines, my mom called to schedule her service and the next day my husband called to schedule ours as well. Two separate customers, and two separate mowers. I don’t know who the third person you communicated with would be unless you’re referring to myself, when I saw someone preparing to drop my mother’s mower off at our house by mistake, and I ran outside to tell him this was the wrong house. The pickup fee was waived after they blew us off and didn’t call, not as a favor or an exception. Once they told us they’d waive a pickup fee, we parked both mowers at one location to try and be helpful. Lesson learned here, too.
