  We did a shade garden that required many different kinds of plants. The personel were very knowledgeabke and helpful. They have a good variety of stock and it is well maintained.

  Update to owner's response: Thank-you for that clarification - I guess it's on me that I assumed a person at your store, wearing a Bentley Ridge shirt, handing me a Bentley Ridge business card, and being the only person we dealt with until the planting was a Bentley Ridge employee - my mistake. As to the cherry tree that we seem to disagree with on it's health, you state that it wasn't reported shortly after planting. I guess the text conversation I had with Jimmy on 6/23/25 (of which I still have), approximately 2 weeks after planting where I stated I was concerned about it because it looked "scraggly and unhealthy and has looked that way since it was planted" doesn't count? I generally don't waste time on a back and forth, but since you were kind enough to clarify, I thought I'd add my own clarification. Original: Before our trees were planted, I would have probably given them a 5 Star rating but then it tumbled mightily after we were very unhappy specifically with one of the trees. Some background - we wanted to plant trees to help shield some new neighbors. We paid their guy to come out and draw up a plan for us. In conversation, he suggested that fruit trees would also be a great option and showed us pictures that supported that. We purchased several hundred dollars worth of trees based on their employee's recommendations and were told that once they arrived we would get a heads up to come inspect them before planting - that never happened. Instead, the guys came out to dig the holes and the next day they showed up with a truck full of trees. I kick myself that I just didn't send it all back but I did reject the 4 column evergreens that looked horrible. Long story short, we've got a mixed bag, some looking okay but one of the cherry trees is pathetic - I wouldn't have taken it for free. Now I'm being told by them that fruit trees simply don't look good and this is normal (not exactly what we were told/shown by their employee at the time). I spoke with them about this tree shortly after planting last year and was basically told that it should get better but not to expect much. I went back recently and I quote "There's nothing we can do". Well, they're a tree farm, I think there's plenty they could do, they just choose not to. Pictures tell the story best......very disappointing customer support.

  Good selection, healthy plants, and decent prices. Unfortunately, I’m leaving this review because of what seems to be an inconsistent policy. A couple of weeks ago, I asked if I could purchase a shrub and pick it up later. I was told that they do not do holds. I accepted that and moved on. When I came back, however, I noticed that some of the exact same plants were being held. I was told that a customer had selected the plants and their landscaper was going to pick them up later. When I pointed out that this seemed to be a hold, they agreed that it was technically against their policy. I have no problem with a business having a no-holds policy, but I do expect that policy to be applied consistently. If exceptions are being made, it’s frustrating to be told that something isn’t allowed when you’re willing to purchase the plant and pick it up yourself, while essentially the same arrangement is being accommodated for a landscaper.
