  We wanted to improve drainage around our home, and after reviewing dry river drainage examples on Marquez Brothers' website, we contacted Higinio and asked him to provide us with ideas and an estimate. In late winter, Higinio surveyed our property, gave us a plan, and a reasonable estimate. There were several unknowns in regard to the material required as we were utilizing many existing large boulders and border stones. When the project was complete, we were very pleased with the fair pricing for additional materials and several added services, including burying a drain tile under an existing sidewalk and tiling an existing concrete patio. Marquez Brothers is an honest and honorable family business we recommend without hesitation. They do quality work in a timely manner at a fair price. If you are considering landscape improvements to your property, I suggest contacting Marquez Brothers soon as I'm certain their calendar fills up fast. We are thrilled with the finished project

  Rating: Five star, A+, 100%. I have used Marquez Brothers Landscaping Inc. several times over several years. Each and every time their work has been exceptional and of the highest quality. They have built terraces, a patio, decorative and retaining walls, a concrete driveway, landscaping and plantings, and a 33-step lighted outdoor stone stairway and railings (pictured). They are especially skilled stonework craftsmen. Higinio Marquez and his crew show up early and work late. He is a knowledgeable and experienced landscaper and has a good eye for developing a plan and doing the work at a reasonable price.

  Marquez Brothers did a fantastic job on my front and backyard landscaping . The work was done in a timely manner and the price was very reasonable compared to other landscaping companies in the Des Moines area.
