Frank gave exceptional and friendly service! He showed me the different storage sizes I was interested in to help me make a decision, got me the best rate, and helped me to get set up on the app to enter the facility. When I had a little trouble with the lock, he fixed it right away! Reserving a storage space on line is very easy too!

My mother and I have been longtime customers of Extra Space Storage in Kahului, and after more than a decade, we decided to downsize our unit. The commitment to go smaller was a big decision and we were determined to make it happen, despite numerous failed attempts in the past — for whatever reasons.
This time the timing was perfect and the staff at Extra Space Storage was accommodating to our needs. We were challenged to go through our things and throw away or donate boxes of stuff. The reorganization proved successful, saving us hundreds of dollars.
Frank, the manager from the Kihei location, and Jessica from Kahului were the two Extra Space Storage employees who walked us through the downsizing process and helped us finalize our new contract in a timely fashion. Without their patience and expertise we may not have seen the savings we enjoy today.
They were particularly patient with my 94-year-old mother, and their positive energy made a potentially stressful situation a very memorable experience.
We have been doing business with Extra Space Storage in Kahului for more than 20 years, and our level of trust and appreciation has never been greater than it is today.

Three years ago I would have rated 5 stars. Now, I give it 5 stars for customer service (Frank is particularly amazing) and 2.5 for cleanliness. It’s really gone downhill to where it feels kinda gross like I don’t wanna touch anything. It’s storage though, not a hotel, so that’s why I give it four stars.
