  I placed an online order for a generator on the 19th of August. Was sent a message saying it would be ready on the 21st. It wasnt. I went into the store spoke with customer service and was told it would be ready for me the 23rd. On the 23rd it wasnt ready and delayed again until the 25th. I went in again on the 25th, because I recieved a message that my order would be canceled. I spoke with customer service who said no youre fine we will push out your date to the end of September and they will call me when its ready. Today in the 29th I received a message that my order was canceled. Im extremely frustrated especially after buying everything exclusively from Lowes. Home Depot here I come.

  One of worst Lowes in the Hawaii island. by Far manager is by far the worst of dealing with most minor issue, store is riddled less than helpfull management that dont return calls and has a very hard time finding qualified people. Please do better

  I called to have somebody come out and replace an exterior door, and a very friendly woman coordinated that, promptly making an appointment with an associated company. Great start! Unfortunately that company, Aloha Bathroom and Floors didn’t know much about doors and didn’t provide any help whatsoever. I never even got an estimate. Reading the other reviews, Lowe’s has real problems like this and worse. Approach at your own risk!

  Had a frustrating experience with a manager at the Honolulu Lowe's on Pacific St. I tried to return an unopened portable air conditioner. Lowe's policy clearly states major appliances have a 48-hour return window if opened; the EXCEPTION states, if it is completely UNOPENED, it can be returned within 30 days. The unit I returned was unopened and well within 30 days. It was fully eligible for a refund. This policy is in writing, on a GIANT banner behind the returns desk, and on the Lowe's website. The store manager completely misunderstood the return policy-- which I cannot mention enough was printed on a giant poster directly behind her -- and flat-out refused to read it when I pointed to it. She told me it's different if I look on the website. It wasn't. I tried to show her the webpage but she refused to read that as well. She said she knew the rule book backward and forward. After a long, painful argument, she finally relented but told me she "didn't need to give me a refund but will do it anyway. " When I told her I'd write to corporate she said "You can write to whoever you want." I contacted Lowe's Executive Support, and they emailed me back confirming the manager was completely wrong, didn't understand store policy, and that they are addressing it with her. Incredible lack of customer service and basic training at the management level for this Iwilei location. Check your receipts, UNDERSTAND THE REFUND POLICY, and stand your ground here when speaking to the confidently incorrect. PSA : DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES THAT ARE SUBJECT TO A 48 HOUR RETURN POLICY.

  Charged for item I did not receive and store has not issued a refund. I placed an online order for delivery from this location. I received my items from the delivery driver and told him an item was missing. The driver shrugged it off and said the store didn't give it to him and then left without indicating what needs to be done. The item was marked as delivered on the order page even though it was NOT delivered. I contacted Lowe's over chat and was told that it was escalated and that the store would contact me regarding my refund. Th store did NOT contact me and did not issue a refund. I tried calling the store and you cannot get a hold of a person at this location. I call the mainland line and was told the first agent didn't process my case correctly so he is doing it now, and again tells me that the store will contact me. I asked him if there was any way around this as I'm running in circles just to get my money back for an item I didn't even receive and he said no, I have to wait for the store to contact me. No indication of when that will be, and I'm supposed to be glued to my phone until they call because no one is going to answer the phone if I call back. At this point it would be easier to just dispute the charge with the credit card company.
