    This is the worst company I’ve ever encountered. They need to update their system or find a better one. I guess my account was flagged for some reason. I’ve asked and they won’t tell me why but because of that i was unable to rent a unit. But I was not informed of that until I had already brought all my things to the facility and unloaded them from the U-Haul and had the U-Haul returned and was starting to move our things to the units we rented and paid for the unit received the access code and locks. Then had to move our things out and by that time the facility was closed and all other places as well. We were left with no way to move our things and were stuck watching them overnight in the parking lot while we tried to come up with more money for another U-Haul and storage. They knew we had no where to take our stuff and no way to move it either and by the morning no one had a said anything to us about leaving if we needed help. Nothing at all until 2 HPD officers rolled up and said that if we didn’t move our things off property by 1 pm we would be trespassed possibly arrested and our things would be disposed of. We tried and tried to get help rent a a U-Haul but all were booked. We were still stuck. 1 o’clock came and nail wasn’t available and cops showed back up to do as they said. Luckily they let us move our things off property but not sure how long that will last till we are met with the same senario. Mind you the whole time we were there guarding all our belongings we didn’t not cause any problems we were not making a mess or bothering anyone. Even when we were told we could store our things we were not rude to the workers we just moved our things out and told them were would move everything as sooo. As we could but also let them know how much of a struggle that would be at this time for us. The manager that called HPD this morning had not spoken one word to us about having to leave or given as a time frame to move our things. They had no compassion for us . Because their system had flagged my emails they treated me as if I did something wrong. When I did not do anything wrong. They could have said something from the beginning the first things they ask for is name and email. Of the email was flagged why did it let me make a reservation and go thru the whole process of renting the unit. Only after the first time I use the access code then it says something. They could have saved me the embarrassment and saved them the time and paper work. Luckily they don’t know what it’s like to have everyone look and judge you while you sit in a parking lot with everything you own. Have HPD trespass you when you’ve done nothing wrong and threaten to arrest you when all you wanted to do was store your things . I will never rent here and I highly recommend that you don’t either. Besides what happens to me they also raise the rates on you often and don’t give you notice till it happens. I foresee this place having a lot of extra space in the future with their poor business habits

    Honestly the place is clean and has good space for good price. But very lackadaisical and broken customer service you might as well be talking to robots at this point. There whole system seems automated and A.I. driven, the workers don’t even have control over their own system. Tried to pay full 6-months up front online only to find out the online virtual walkthrough was displaying the wrong size unit which was supposed to be the locker above it. Okay when I arrived I see there is a disparaty and asked to just pay the difference for 6months for the unit. “Sorry sir you payed online, only a manager can give you the price for the unit online, but we can only charge you the instore price here onsite”. ????? Why can’t you fix an issue onsite that is crazy. Anyways no call back and boom email 2 days after my payment is due I get an email and never receive an invoice saying I’m even late. Only owe $34. $44 late fee on $30 cause I accidentally got the wrong locker size on the internet but only “the manager” can fix the online price to be payed in-store and that isn’t even the “manager” who can remove the late fee. No invoice, no notice call, bureaucratic corporate vibes 👎 they keep it clean though.

    Absolutely unacceptable experience. The customer service here is terrible, especially that small skinny kid who acts like every customer is a thief. They treat you with zero respect. Access is extremely limited only from 8:00 AM to 6:45 PM—yet you’re still charged full price. If you’re even one minute late, they’ll kick you out without hesitation. On top of that, you can’t even access your own belongings unless someone is in the office. Completely ridiculous. Don’t waste your time or money at this Queen Street location go somewhere else. Very disappointed.

    This is by far the worst storage facility in Hawaiʻi. They advertise hours from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but in reality they only operate from 8:30 AM to 6:45 PM. If you show up at 6:45PM, they won’t even open the gate they just turn you away. Completely unprofessional.i had to retrieve one of my most important stuff on that day I kind of pleaded them to let me in and they didn’t even care. What the hell they post the time from 8 am to 7 pm then. Weekends are even worse you will have 6 hours access. All other locations or companies have long hours atleast 10 pm. The access is extremely inconvenient. You’re paying for storage, yet you barely have access to your own belongings. There’s no independence you can’t just come and go when you need to. If staff aren’t in the office, they lock everything up, and you’re stuck waiting for them to come back from lunch or wherever they went. I once waited over an hour just to get in. The staff is unprofessional and unhelpful, and when you question it, they just give excuses like “this is the biggest facility in Honolulu” or claim it’s “for your safety.” Overall, you’re paying for a service that you can hardly use. Definitely would not recommend.
