Normally I love coming into Lowe’s but today is a different story. I came in for business and when I asked the lady in the paint department if she could come get some paint for me she was absolutely rude. I explained the ladder was exactly where it needed to be in order to get the cases down that I needed and she responded with “I know, I put it there” when I reiterated saying “no ma’am I’m saying the cases I need are right where the ladder is she said “give me a minute “ (she had an attitude behind her statement)okay no problem but then she began speaking to another customer and I thought she was talking to me but she snapped back “no I was talking to her.” If she hates her job that much she shouldn’t be here. I expect to be treated the same way you expect me to treat you if you were to come into my place of business. By far the worst experience I’ve had in this place. I’d post her name but it was covered by her jacket.

Lowe’s has a decent selection and competitive prices, but their system reliability and product availability need serious improvement. On multiple occasions I’ve placed orders for appliances that appeared in stock, only to find out later—sometimes after weeks or even months—that the items were actually unavailable. Payments were taken and then refunded without clear communication, and I only learned about cancellations after reaching out myself.
The staff I’ve interacted with have generally been polite, but the underlying issue is the inventory and order‑management system. It shouldn’t be possible to purchase items that can’t be fulfilled, and customers shouldn’t receive delivery confirmations for products that aren’t even in stock.
Lowe’s can be a good place to shop, but until they fix these system issues, the experience is hit‑or‑miss.

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
