I spent well over 30 minutes in this store trying to get help, and honestly, the customer service was terrible. I came in ready to buy a nail gun, chargers, nails, and several other items — close to $500 worth of merchandise — but a lot of the tools were locked up and there was apparently no one available to help.
I walked around the store looking for an employee, asked the cashier near the loading area, and he told me someone would come help. I also asked other people standing near the registers, but some of them were not even wearing uniforms, so I honestly couldn’t tell who actually worked there. One person came over, looked at the locked case, said it was difficult and that he couldn’t open it, then walked away.
I also asked the employee watching the self-checkout area, and I was sent back to the same cashier. After waiting another 10 minutes, still nobody came.
At that point I gave up and left without buying anything. The only good thing is Lowe’s saved me about $500 today.
If you’re going to lock up nail guns, batteries, chargers, and other expensive tools, you need to have employees available to actually unlock them for customers. I shouldn’t have to walk all over the store begging someone to take my money.
Very disappointing experience. If you’re a contractor or someone who values your time, I would seriously consider going somewhere else.

I ordered an item online from Lowe's, and the wrong item was delivered. I reordered, hoping it was a one-time mistake, and the same thing happened again.
When I went to my local Lowe's store to return the incorrect items, I was told I had to go to a different store. When I asked why, the staff said this particular store has a policy of not accepting online-order returns. This policy isn't published anywhere on the website, the order confirmation, or in the store, so customers have no way to know about it until they show up.
Getting the wrong item twice is frustrating enough. Being turned away over an unpublished store-specific policy made it worse. Lowe's needs to fix its order fulfillment and be transparent about return policies so customers don't waste their time. And after a long discussion I was able to return.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF LOWES. WHAT HAPPENED? My 80 year old dad went to purchase a few bags of soil today. The lady that was working said she wasn't going to assist him in getting it to his truck, and no one else could help. He asked for a manager and sat and waited 30 minutes. He asked the lady if the manager was still coming, and she shrugged and said 'guess not oh well'. He ended up having to load everything himself. You guys should be ASHAMED of your so called 'customer service.' You must be DESPERATE for workers.

Very disappointing customer service experience at the Suwanee Lowe’s. My wife and I waited about 20 minutes for assistance in the paint department. We asked the customer service desk to call someone, but when an employee named Ty came over, he was not helpful at all.
I showed him the paint name and color we needed and asked for assistance. Instead of helping, he pointed toward the wall and told me to go look. When I explained that we had already been waiting for 20 minutes, he said he did not work in that section and that I would have to look myself.
If an employee cannot assist directly, they should at least make an effort to find someone who can. This interaction was dismissive and unprofessional. Store management should address the lack of support and customer-service attitude we experienced.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
