  Lowe’s Home Centers, Suwanee, GA Our kitchen remodel with Lowe’s Home Centers (“Lowe’s”) and Schuler Cabinetry (“Schuler”) showed a persistent pattern of avoidable errors, missed deadlines, and poor communication. Work began 09/30/24, with an estimated completion date of 11/05/24. More than a year later, essential work remained unfinished. Design and ordering mistakes caused major delays. The oven cabinet door frame was placed within 5/16" of combustible drywall, in our opinion requiring replacement. Multiple cabinets arrived damaged, incorrectly sized, wrong color, or were never ordered at all. Some required several reorders, and one cabinet took over 11 months to install. Countertop installation was similarly mishandled. After paying in full, we learned the quartz slabs did not match the showroom sample. Lowe’s declined to honor pricing for a comparable product, forcing us to purchase countertops elsewhere at added cost. Appliance pre inspection then revealed further design/construction errors requiring additional cabinetry corrections and reorders. Communication from Lowe’s and Schuler was unreliable throughout the project. Emails went unanswered for weeks, delivery dates were repeatedly incorrect, which caused coordination delays between trades. Even basic status updates were inconsistent. Cumulatively these failures extended the project by hundreds of days, created significant additional expenses, and caused prolonged disruption to daily living. In our opinion, Lowe’s and Schuler failed to meet professional standards of care. Despite this 536-day ordeal, Lowe’s offered a reimbursement of only 15.2% of our requested amount—an entirely unacceptable resolution.

  PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW. This review has nothing to do really with the Suwanee Lowes or its employees which have been professional and great through this entire process. That being said I would never again purchase a appliance that needs to be delivered from them. The 3rd party delivery company is a complete and utter nightmare. I purchased a fridge and dishwasher from Lowes Suwanee over a month ago. They had to separate deliveries because the dishwasher was not in stock. I received several emails and texts about the incoming fridge delivery which was great. I was prepared for its arrival. When the delivery guys arrived they asked me where to leave the old fridge and I asked that if they just take it out the front door I will move it to the garage. Right away I was asked how much I was going to pay the guy for that service. He was shaking me down for money. Then when I said nothing that the store said they would do that he then said "well I don't work for Lowes and i'm not gonna do it." We are already off to a bad start. Then he measures the space and tell me that the fridge is too large even though I measured the fringe and the space. He said the french door would hit the door frame when it opens and said they are going to take the fridge back. Frustrated I went back to the store and bought the counter top version of the same fridge. Same measurements except shallower. That was installed a week later with no issues. I am attaching a photo so you can see how much space was available after installation. This smaller fridge was over $100 more expensive and holds less. Now I am not happy at all. Then comes my delivery date for the dishwasher, the time window comes and goes and nobody has shown up. I call and they then told me the unit was not available in the warehouse for pickup and I was simply not informed. I wasted an entire day waiting for them. 3 weeks has gone by and finally I get a call about the dishwasher being in and getting it installed. I quickly agreed to the 1st available time because I have been without for weeks. I mistakenly put the installation date the following week in my calendar. I know this was a mistake on my part. With the fridge I had several texts and emails reminding me that it was being delivered in the days prior. Well having put the date in the calendar wring I left out of town. The only reminder that the delivery was coming was sent at 6am the morning of the delivery, sorry I am not up checking my email at 6am. The delivery driver comes to the house at 8am I am out of town and my daughter in law who was staying at the house after working a long night shift at work answers the door and didn't quite understand what was going on. Long story short they dropped the dishwasher in my garage after I paid for installation and for them to take the old unit away. My daughter in law feels horrible and text my wife to tell her about what had happened and in her words "how incredibly rude" the installation guy was. After my 1st experience with this company I fully trust what she says because of my own experience. The photo's below show the distance between the current smaller more expensive fridge and the wall where they said the french door was going to hit. I will still shop at this Lowe's because this is not their fault but never for an appliance ever again. I have come to learn that this same company also delivers for Home Depot and another large box store. If someone out there has some big trucks and wants to start a appliance delivery service the market in this area is for the taking because I can't imagine anyone is happy with these guys. I hope someone from Lowes corporate sees this review and doesn't renew their contract with this service because it is damaging their reputation. I would have given less than 1 star if it was an option

  Showed up at Lowes Suwanee GA to buy fencing materials. At 11am pictures show how the materials were staged. Rocks and blocks on top of the wood. 10' high to get bags of concrete. Guess they don't really want to sell this stuff. Really disappointing. MOD should be ashamed. Heading to Home Depot now.

  The employees here are great. I own a construction business and Jamil at the pro-desk always makes it a priority to get me loaded and out the door. Shout out to Jamil, Mike, Tim and Glen at the pro-desk for understanding time is valuable and the service they offer is unmatched.

  Shout out to Mrs Cathy today! She made Lowe’s some money today lol. She helped my wife put me to work today mowing lol. Thx to Mr. Randy and Louis too for helping! Thank you to Mrs Olivia for listening and letting me buy the display! Thank for help today folks:)
