  We have worked with the Summerville branch for many years and by far this is the WORST experience we have ever had. In June we called to tell them we no longer needed a mattress, a washer and dryer we were renting from them due to us being evicted from our home and trespassed and for them to please come get their merchandise. Scheduled a time to get it and thought that was that. No can’t ever be that simple. Apparently according to Aaron’s they wouldn’t let them on the property. We worked with them for 2 months trying to get their things. We were even told that we needed to get the police involved to meet them at the property since we were not allowed to be there and made many attempts to do so. They would schedule times to meet and would say they would call as they head that way so we could call the police to meet them then it would be radio silence. Was even told by the manager during one of our scheduled times they he was not gonna drop everything just to meet the police cause he just wasn’t doing that and how it wasn’t his problem. Now I’m being told that it doesn’t matter that the store hasn’t done their part of getting their things that we clearly do not want nor need due to pretty much being homeless that we are still 100% responsible and there is nothing we can do about it. Like when does the responsibility fall on the store and their unwillingness to get the merchandise we have clearly stated time and time again that we do not want nor can afford to keep anymore and have done everything we can within our power to work with them to get the stuff back? To me this is a money scam. They are aware of where the things are, they have had multiple opportunities to receive the items but block every effort we have made to get them their items. Now we are being told that none of this is on the store at all and and how it’s our fault they don’t have the items and we are still financially responsible for them not picking up what we once again have told them for months now we do not want nor can afford? I will never again use this store. They are crooked since Natalie left it. I don’t know what else we are to do to work with them at all

  Had a couch and ottoman that were supposed to be delivered between 11 and 2 they never showed up had to call and they said that their delivery driver just now got there after 2 o’clock and then said they were loading up and we’re on their way to me. Two hours later nothing so I called again and they said they got hung up at another delivery and they said that they would be there soon (gave an ETA of 30 minutes at the most) they showed up over an hour later. I couldn’t even get a courtesy call that they were gonna be late. I had to call them twice. Terrible customer service. The couch and Ottoman are very nice though. That was the only good part about the experience.

  Amber is a great person. She helps tremendously every time something goes wrong in life she always helps me make a payment arrangement and hasn’t failed once to be understanding and helpful. I highly recommend this store and Amber

  Aaron's is a good place especially for people who can't afford to pay straight out for things.
