  I just signed up for service and the first impression was excellent! The process was simple and quick. Aptive came the following day and, although I had been warned that it was not going to be any Magic, I haven’t seen any insects after they were here. I’m so happy I called them!

  Some experiences were good. Some technicians are very thoughtful and experienced. However, the Salesman signed us up and several "promises" were made but not correct. The 18 month contract is really a 19 payment plan. Was told they only use organic materials, however, when one appointment was when we weren't home, Several of my plants/flowers/herbs were sprayed (after I specifically explained that I didn't want these sprayed). All plants died within 2 days. I feel like we were lied to in order to get our business.

  If I could give less than 1 star I would. A young man came to my residence on an electric Segway, then I agreed to service, I did not agree to sign anything, or give my bank information, yet I had people come to my house without informing me, and without doing the work promised. This place is full of scammers. They will not let you talk to an actual supervisor of any area, and the “employees” on the phone will not answer questions without your information.

  Terrible experience with Aptive. I actually have more bug problems now than I did before using their service, and the technicians don't seem to follow what is specifically requested in the appointment details. I tried to cancel my service but was told I couldn't without paying a cancellation fee because of the 12-month contract. After speaking with management, I was eventually told they would waive the cancellation fee if I gave them one more opportunity to service my home. I specifically agreed to this because I was told that if I still wasn't satisfied after that service, I could cancel without the fee. Well, I gave them another chance, and I still wasn't happy with the service. When I called back to cancel, suddenly they wouldn't honor what I had been told. The most frustrating part is that their calls are recorded. I repeatedly asked the representative to listen to the previous recorded call so they could verify exactly what management told me, and he continued to ignore that request. If a company makes an agreement with a customer to convince them to give the service another chance, they should honor that agreement. Instead, I've had poor pest control results, requests not being followed, and an unnecessarily difficult experience trying to cancel. I would not recommend Aptive based on my experience.

  I would not recommend Aptive based on my experience. I initially signed up for Aptive’s basic plan and was told treatments would be performed every 30–50 days. However, after the initial service, they did not come back for almost two months. When I contacted them because the German roach problem was still not improving, I was told that I needed to upgrade to a higher plan. I upgraded with the expectation that treatments would be performed approximately every 30 days. Unfortunately, after the first service under the upgraded plan, they again did not proactively schedule the next service as expected. The biggest issue is that I have seen essentially no meaningful improvement in the German roach infestation. The upgraded service appeared to be the same routine spraying I was receiving under the basic plan. There was no thorough, targeted inspection of areas where German roaches commonly hide, such as underneath or behind appliances, around refrigerators and ovens, inside/around electrical sockets, and other potential hiding spots. I have now been with Aptive for more than six months and still see German roaches throughout the property. The mosquito and other insect control has also been disappointing. My kids have still been getting mosquito bites, and I have seen essentially zero improvement with flies and other insects. At this point, I honestly don’t know what products are being used or how effective the treatments are supposed to be. I contacted another pest control company, and their approach was completely different. They charge a one-time fee and, if necessary, come back weekly or every couple of weeks to inspect and continue treatment until the German roaches are eliminated. They actually look for the source and hiding areas rather than simply performing a routine spray. After spending money on Aptive for more than six months, including upgrading my plan, I have seen virtually no benefit. The service feels more like routine spraying than actual pest control tailored to the infestation. In my experience, Aptive is not worth the money, especially if you are dealing with German roaches or expecting noticeable results with mosquitoes, flies, and other insects. I would recommend researching other companies that provide targeted treatment and follow-up inspections.
