We drove 40 minutes today to Lowes in Statesboro GA for HVAC filters. The advertisement was purchase four filters or two 2-packs and get 20% off. You can see in the display photo that I snapped exactly what it says. When we got to the checkout it did not come up 20% off so the clerk called for help in that department and he proceeded to say the price was already embedded in the cost. This is not the case I bought two packs of the same filters (4 total) and they should’ve been reduced 20% which would’ve been almost 10.00 in a discount. We will not be back to this Lowes and I do not appreciate the non-Customer Service after being a lifetime Lowes customer and going so far out of our way today to visit with them. A Goods a teacher, I am giving them a D for customer service, a D for false advertising and a D for being dismissive with my question, even though I had a photo of their very own display on the filter isle. See attached.

I did call as you suggested and spoke with Ricardo. After 30 minutes of holding twice, he informed me that the only thing he could see on the Computer website was that I would have to buy four packages of the filtrate filter In order to get the 25% discount. As you can see in the photo attached, I am talking about the 20% discount in buying two packages. I actually expected no less than what I received after this long phone call; however, I did want to give Lowes the benefit of the A customer for so many years. Again, you disappoint me. It is not about the 20% as much as it is about the dismissive quality of service that has apparently left our consumer society. What a shame because Lowe’s used to provide excellent customer service.

Will not be going to this Lowe’s in Statesboro no more. I tried returning a dryer that I picked up at a different Lowe’s in pooler because the top clip was missing. Casey at the customer service desk answered and proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t not return or exchange it at a different Lowe’s. So I called the Lowe’s in pooler manager told me I can return it to any Lowe’s within 48 hours of pickup. So I called backed to Statesboro Lowe’s and Casey answered the phone and I asked for the manager . He put me on the phone with a manager that had an attitude as soon as she got on the phone, and I could hear Casey in the back ground running his mouth. I talked to the manager still trying to make the process hard then transferred me to appliances to talk to someone about getting the part that was missing from the brand new dryer I bought and stayed on hold for so long the phone stopped ringing and went silent. I won’t ever be back at this Lowe’s location and as for Casey he needs to be out pushing buggies in the sun instead of answering and speaking with customers with his smart ass mouth.
