I’ve been shopping at Home Depot my entire life and today I was remembered why I shop at Home Depot my entire life. Home Depot has never rejected any of my products for a return or an exchange . Lowe’s treats all their customers like With no decency. Lowe’s is definitely not there For contractors.

Monday, July 20,2026 My Daughter’s Father died last Thursday. She (and her Sister) wanted yellow rose bushes (rather than flowers from a florist) so they could plant them in their yards as a Remembrance of their Dad. So, I called Lowe’s in Snellville & FINALLY got thru to the Garden Center.
MARK (Smith) was EXTREMELY BUSY with a line of customers but He POLITELY took my name & phone number & said he would work on this ASAP; that he would select Two of the PRETTIEST & BEST Yellow Rose Bushes they had AND HE DID ❣️❣️
I wanted MARK’S Supervisor to KNOW just how COURTEOUS & CONCERNED MARK was, but
Mark’s Supervisor was working on solving some
“problem issues” with another customer at the time of my request. So, another Supervisor, Mr. Baldwin, said he would tell Mark’s Supervisor HOW IMPRESSED I WAS WITH MARK❣️
And, I was IMPRESSED WITH MR. BALWIN, too ❣️
HE said he, PERSONALLY, WOULD MAKE SURE MY DAUGHTER WOULD GET THE ROSES TODAY ❣️

I’ve purchased four new appliances from this location in the last 12 months. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators. The last refrigerator was one of the worst installation experiences we’ve had from any vendor. That was a drastic departure from our previous experiences, but now I understand why. Lowe’s has decided to use a company named Crume To do all of their installation. The scheduling process alone is probably the dumbest process I’ve ever seen. When the appliance arrives at your local store, someone calls from the installers company and tells you that they’re ready to install your Appliance. They ask you what days you’re available and then you share your preferred days. Then they give you the first three available days for installation, I picked the first available date and that really should be the end of the process other than selecting a time for that date, but it’s not, and this is where it gets really stupid. Because this is the moment in the process where I was informed that someone would call me within the next 24 to 48 hours to tell me, which of the three days would be the actual installation day, so it’s not necessarily the day that you say that you’re available at the time. So I got an automated call that told me that the date that I had not picked was the first available day and asked me if I wanted that day. When I selected that I did not want that day it didn’t ask me to select three more days after which someone would get in touch with me within the next 24 to 48 hours to tell me which of those three days worked. This is a great System for anyone with that kind of flexibility, but that’s not me. So after many years of buying appliances from Lowe’s, I’m taking that business elsewhere.

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
