Both dresses needed extensive alterations and they turned out perfect and fit perfectly. I will use them in the future for formal dresses that need to be altered.

The two women who work here are absolutely wonderful—so extremely nice, welcoming, and professional. They made the entire alteration process seamless and completely stress-free. - RMRachael MasottiMay 22, 20263.0I want to preface this review by saying I had an amazing experience with my seamstress Dana, who did an amazing job with my dress and alterations, however I cannot give this business 5 starts because when I went to pick up my dress the day before my wedding after it being steamed, my dress was visibly stained with multiple (10+ light dirt stains throughout) on the train of both my dress and the overskirt. My dress was bought from Wedding Angels across the street and did not come out of the bag until arriving at Lace Alterations. Instead of freaking out like most brides would have, I was extremely calm about the situation, as there is literally only correct action following the recognition of stains: to get it dry cleaned. I spoke to the owner of Lace Alterations and made her aware. Instead of taking accountability and offering resolution, the owner was incredibly rude, stated there were “no stains” and it was a lighting issue. She was not apologetic, empathetic, or apologetic, all of which I expected out of a business who stained my dress. On top of that, my dress was not steamed as promised. I was extremely put off by the attitude of the owner. It must be time to retire. You had one job. Can’t recommend this business due to this insane behavior. The morning of my wedding I was reading reviews of this business and found that this happened to another bride, so I feel very dumb with taking Wedding Angel’s recommendation to work with Lace Alterations.

They did a great job taking in what I needed, hemming to the perfect length, and I loved how the bustle they added too. They also made removable shoulder swoopies for my dress that turned out exactly how I wanted it! Thank you so much!
