We bought an LG refrigerator in November2025. It did not come with an installed ice maker so we bought an LG ice maker to go in it, at the same time. We also purchased a 5 year protection plan. The refrigerator and ice maker was installed in January 2026. The ice maker stopped working in May 2026. I know find out that the ice maker is not under the 1 year warranty that LG gives because it was not in the ice maker and it is also not under the protection 5 year protection plan that we paid for. This was not told to us when we bought the refrigerator. So Lowe’s nor LG is not replacing an ice maker that has only worked for 4 months.

The assistant manager Melony questioned if we had clothes from the store with us when we were walking to the outside plant section. It was clear that my husband only had his dirty carhartt work jacket in our stroller in a small pocket that wouldn't be able to fit much anyway. I myself had a buggy with a couple of plants which she surely didn't think had clothes anywhere in it. We told her no and she said "ok" but with an unbielieving tone. We brushed it off and went to the front to check out to avoid her. There were some plants that we had that the front cashier didn't know if it should be marked down or not so Melony was called over there to help. As we were looking through the plants and saying which ones came from clearance or not, I picked up a large sectioned out impatiens flowers. Apparently they looked too good to Melony and she gave me a look like I was lying that it came from the clearance section. After being questioned for the second time about stealing/price deception we walked out. She did all of this in front of our kids. It felt like we were being harassed. Why am I being questioned/accused again for picking the healthiest looking plant? How do you as an assistant manager not know what plants are on clearance ? There was an abundant amount of impatiens flowers in clearance. How I was treated by Melony was embarrassingly unprofessional but it seems that is just the tone of the store.

Judd and Theresa were very rude to me when they were giving me the time and telling me that the store closes in 15 minutes. I am from out of town and had they assisted me in an unfamiliar store rather than telling me to hurry up then I wouldnt have even been there so late to start with. But having to find things that I needed took up time and made my shopping slow. And im not sure what mr. Judd had told everyone, but as he stood out in the parking lot waiting on me I guess he was expecting a confrontation from the way the rest of the lowes employees stood at the door inside watching. I own a house on the lake and when things break I go to the milledgeville lowes. I rather go all the way back to macon before I deal with these employees again. Theresa wanted to know why I didnt want the othe employees names that stood around with her as she reminded me of the time. I didn't want their names because they kept their mouths shut and didnt say a word to me. They were smart. Lowes- you suck

The website is inconsistent with what is actually in stock in the store. It will tell you something is available only to find out that it is not when you drive an hour plus to get to this location. Attempted to call the store five times only to have the associate pick up and then immediately hang up the phone. People here do not want to work, they just want to collect a check. When I brought it to an employee’s attention, she rolled her eyes and said “that ain’t me” Which show shows that they also have a lack of accountability in the store. If you do not want your time, wasted, do not shop at the Lowe’s in Milledgeville.
