Extremely frustrating experience. I rented a truck specifically to access my storage unit, only to arrive and discover that I could not access the exterior door.
The office information clearly states that access is available from 6 AM–10 PM, Monday–Sunday, yet there were no clear instructions explaining how to access the exterior entrance. The access code provided to me also did not work because the door lock only has numbers 1–5.
This is a basic access issue that should have been clearly communicated to tenants before they arrive with a rented truck and potentially incur unnecessary expenses. I should not have to spend additional money because the facility failed to provide adequate access instructions!!! I would avoid this facility, I reached out to customer care and unfortunately everything has to be escalated to the “site manager” who was not accessible.

Just want to say you all had Great deals under $100 on a few big storage spaces in your Austell Location, which Great savings I. Your pocket! The Customer Service on the phone was Great helping set up my storage. And also Nokisha W. Inside the Storge was very helpful navigating me to set up Digital Access from my phone which makes it more convenient! She was very nice l must say! Thanks Extra Space Storage!!👍👍👍

I relocated to Atlanta a week ago and had to get a storage unit. I met with Orlando. He is such a wonderful, very respectful young man. His professionalism and knowledge about everything made the whole process less daunting. The space I chose was clean, the office and the property was clean and I appreciated seeing that.
