Extra Space on Loring is a beautiful facility my husband and I have been using for the last couple of years or so. We love that they have climate controlled units and require a code to get access to our large unit. Unfortunately, our rates were scheduled to increase this month. I called Extra Space and spoke with Jose, an assistant manager there. He was very pleasant and helpful in his explanation of the storage industry’s tendency to raise rates every year, despite a customer’s good payment history; however, he was able to lower our payment by a few dollars, which was greatly appreciated. I hope Extra Space does not continue to raise rates every year, as that will force us to look elsewhere or just sell the contents of our unit.
