I ordered an assembled grill for same day pickup because I needed it by the weekend. The website does say assembly can affect pickup but it does not say this can delay the order for several days. I couldn't get past the store AI phone so I had to physically go to the store to get answers. They said that the assembly guy is only in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I ordered the grill on September 8th and I was told it won't be ready until at least September 12th with no guarantees. When I asked how long if I switched to delivery they said September 21st with a 12 hour window. This completely ruins my plans and I wasn't offered a discount or even a coupon. Don't shop here, they don't want to provide the item that you've paid for in a reasonable amount of time. It's too much trouble, just go to Home Depot.

I writing a review of Lowe's regarding the purchase and installation of custom window blinds. What should have been a routine installation turned into weeks of delays, miscommunication, conflicting information, and incomplete work. Despite repeated contacts with store management, installation services, and Executive Customer Relations, the project remains unresolved.
Before installation, my windows were measured and I was told everything was ready. I specifically asked whether I needed to pick up the blinds and was told the installer would bring them. On August 6, the installer arrived and asked where the blinds were. He left to retrieve them from the store and later claimed they had been cut incorrectly, leaving the installation incomplete. He also left hardware and installation materials scattered throughout my home.
Afterward, I was unable to get clear answers and had to visit the store in person. I was told a new installer would be assigned and the issue investigated. Instead, I received contradictory information. I was told the blinds were cut incorrectly, then told they were not. I was told they were being recut, then told they were ready. I was informed a new installer would handle the project, only to be contacted by the original installer.
After escalating the matter, another installation was scheduled. I took additional time away from work only to learn that multiple blinds were missing and the installation could not be completed as expected. I also discovered that one blind does not fit properly and interferes with opening and locking a door.
I have lost work time, made repeated trips to the store, and spent significant time seeking accurate information.

Total came to $62. Tees to pay with $100 bill. She stated she didn’t have change, at the Pro Checkout. So I left, guess Home Depot is my next stop. Secondly, I came in earlier and did self checkout, tried to use my Lowe’s cash and even with an attendants help it wouldn’t accept it. What’s the point of rewards, points and Lowe’s cash if you can’t use it? I have been coming to Lowe’s for YEARS, lately it’s been a struggle again maybe it’s time to think about using Home Depot.
