Have been here more than once and walked around for 15 minutes not being able to find one person who can help. Last time I tried to find a full shower kit with a shower valve and the person working in that department didn’t know what that was and the person they referred me to tried to sell me a sink valve.
I went home and got on Amazon and had the full kit delivered in 1.25 hrs. I try to “buy local” but experiences like this make it increasingly difficult. Also, I don’t blame the employees, I blame the corporation for hiring so few people and the ones that they do hire they don’t pay enough to be knowledgeable.

Put in an order at 11am for 2 washers, 2 nuts and 2 screws… went by at 7pm for the in-store pickup, and the lady at the pickup counter was quick to inform me that I had come to pick up the order too soon. A gentleman then went to collect my items and returned to inform me that the washers and nuts were ready but the screws that I had ordered were not in stock despite saying that they had 7 in stock. As a lifelong Lowes shopper, I will not be returning to this location due to the numerous discrepancies.

Absolutely terrible customer service at the East Point Lowe's.
We came in to return an electric lawn mower that we purchased on **7/5/26**. We were there for **an hour and a half** because the managers kept giving us different stories instead of simply following Lowe's return policy.
The manager whose name started with an "A" (she appeared to be of African descent and had braids or dreadlocks) told us the computer said the mower could not be returned. After I asked her to show me what the computer supposedly said, she refused. Even after she spoke with Lowe's Home Office and they told her the mower **should be returned** because the policy is **30 days**, she still refused to process the return or show us anything on the screen.
She then called another manager, Patrice / Pauline over, and suddenly the story changed to, "We don't return lawn mowers after 48 hours." That directly contradicted what Lowe's Home Office told us.
What made the situation even worse was the manager with the "A" name instructing the customer service representative, Shelby, not to do anything. Shelby looked uncomfortable and appeared afraid to go against her manager's instructions, even though she was simply trying to help.
Being given conflicting information and spending an hour and a half over a return that Lowe's Home Office said should have been honored was completely unacceptable. Based on our experience, management at this location needs better communication, accountability, and training.
**** Update: The store ended up allowing the return after all once I spoke with the store manager, Cornell. Thank you to Cornell for taking the time to help resolve the situation.
Unfortunately, the two managers I dealt with previously need to be retrained. They told me the store only accepted returns within 48 hours and also claimed the return couldn't be processed because the lawn mower had been used. Neither of those explanations turned out to be true.
When I returned, a new associate at the returns desk processed everything without claiming the computer prevented the return or giving any of the excuses I was previously told. It became clear that the information the two managers gave me was false.
I appreciate Cornell's professionalism and assistance in making things right. I hope the other managers receive additional training so future customers are given accurate information.
