  I come here a lot in this a good place to wash your clothes. But it’s a lot of problems that is caused by the manager rules that shouldn’t even comply to the people that come here in mind there own business. This place is not a library we should be able to listen to our music or watch are videos without the black lady coming to anyone about turning down there cellphones when they play music loud enough for everyone to hear it. If it’s going to be rules make sure that they are not playing this disturbing music in we probably can here are phones in keep it low especially when people come here that really mind there business instead of one person in that the manager that over do everything because of the higher ups that keep making stupid rules that no one is even doing. Than yall have a place here for kids that people cannot sit when people love there privacy and space. This is not a day care either, in you cannot be over there but you want me to pay for a game for my child to play out of my pocket for a few stupid mins, I cannot sit over there as me minding my business especially when kids are in school the only people that want to do harm to kids is the people that do so. This is a laundry mat not a daycare or prison.

  I’ve been coming to this laundromat for a couple of years now, and I’ve always had a great experience. The place is clean, well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. One of the people who has always stood out to me is Que. They are very kind, attentive, and always willing to help whenever I need assistance. I truly appreciate the great customer service and the welcoming environment, and I definitely recommend this laundromat to anyone looking for a nice and reliable place to do their laundry.

  I always come to this laundromat in Duluth for almost 4-5 months now and I’m on the phone as i usually do as I do at any laundromat I would have went to and I’m sitting with my kids talking to my sister on the phone and my daughter is sitting next to me on her IPad with NO HEADPHONES and the customer service guy(in the photo) comes by and states I have to put headphones in. What rule is that to implement?!?! if that is even one and why would he tell me that and another guy walks away and sits somewhere else because my daughter fell and started crying if you’re uncomfortable because of a child don’t come to the laundromat this makes me not want to come back anymore. Ugggh!!

  To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my frustration regarding my experience at your laundromat today. I came into the facility with the intention of washing two loads of laundry. When I attempted to reload my laundry card, I discovered that the card payment machine was not working and was informed that I would need to use cash instead. Because I did not have enough cash with me, I had to leave the facility, drive back home, get cash, and return. After coming back, I then discovered that both bill-changing machines were also out of service. This was extremely inconvenient. Not only was I unable to reload my laundry card using a debit or credit card, but I also had no way to break my larger bills because both change machines were unavailable. To make matters worse, the facility itself did not have cash available to provide change. As a result, I was forced to load all of the cash I had brought onto my laundry card simply so I could wash the two loads of laundry I originally came in to do. Customers should not have to make multiple trips or load more money than they intended onto a laundry card because every available payment/change option at the facility is out of service. If the card machine is down and the facility is operating on a cash-only basis, there should at minimum be a functioning bill changer or another reasonable way for customers to obtain change. I would appreciate management addressing these equipment issues and providing a resolution regarding the excess money I was forced to load onto my laundry card due to the facility’s lack of working payment options.   UPDATE: Unfortunately, I have to change my original 5-star review to 1 star. I previously had an excellent experience here and left a glowing review. Unfortunately, after my experience last night, I will not be returning. I arrived at approximately 11:47 PM specifically to dry clothes. Since this location is advertised as being open until 1:00 AM, I reasonably expected to have enough time to do so. When I arrived, the sliding glass entrance was already locked. The other entrance had a large padlock attached to it, although the door itself was fortunately still unlocked. The lights were dimmed, and the entire establishment appeared to have essentially been shut down for the night. I walked inside and encountered the same employee from my previous visit, who was mopping the floors. He immediately told me, “We're closed.” I responded that I thought the location closed at 1:00 AM. He then changed his explanation and said the washers close at 11:30 PM. I explained that I wasn't there to wash anything—I only needed to use a dryer. At that point, he appeared annoyed, so I directly asked whether he was simply trying to leave early. He faintly nodded and said yes. And THAT is where I have a problem. I completely understand an employee wanting to finish cleaning and get home early. We're all human. What I don't appreciate is being told that the business is closed when its posted closing time is more than an hour later, especially when I specifically chose this location because of its late hours. Had he simply said, “The washers are closed for the night, and I'm trying to finish up a little early, but I understand you only need to dry your clothes,” I would have been far more understanding. Instead, the entrances were being locked down, the lights were dimmed, and I was initially given information that simply wasn't true. I ended up leaving and finding a 24-hour laundromat where I could dry my clothes without feeling like I was inconveniencing an employee during the business's advertised operating hours. It's unfortunate because I genuinely liked this location enough after my first visit to leave an enthusiastic 5-star review. But if customers cannot depend on the posted hours, particularly late at night when there may be fewer alternatives available, that's a significant problem. Rating reduced from 5 stars to 1. I will not be returning. *Initial Positive Review* I never thought I'd be writing a review for a laundromat, but after my dryer decided to quit on me, I had no choice. I also realized I hadn't been to a laundromat in years. Thankfully, Speed Queen Laundry made the experience surprisingly enjoyable. This place is fantastic! They're open until 1:00 AM, which is incredibly convenient if you have a busy schedule. The associate working during my visit was extremely friendly and welcoming. The music playing throughout the store was relaxing, making the time pass much more pleasantly. The facility itself is spotless and well maintained. There's plenty of space to fold your clothes, a dedicated area to keep kids entertained, free Wi-Fi, and one of my favorite features—you can use your debit or credit card to purchase and reload a laundry card instead of dealing with a pocket full of quarters. No more damn quarters! They also offer wash, dry, and fold services if you'd rather let them handle everything for you. If I ever had the opportunity to own a laundromat, I'd want it to look and operate exactly like this one. Speed Queen Laundry has set the standard for what a laundromat should be. I highly recommend it!
