I had a wonderful experience at the Lowe's on Veteran's Pkwy, in Columbus, Ga. today. I called ahead to make sure I could purchase my riding lawn mower and get it delivered as soon as possible. Denzel, the representative that worked in lawn and garden assisted me over the phone and did an exceptional job. He was able to answer all of my questions and help someone that was in the store in a very polite manner all at the same time. Once I arrived to the store he gave me his undivided attention and assisted me in a very professional manner. My experience here today was outstanding and I recommend this establishment.

Sorry Lowes I have to complain. I had an small order for that I absolutely needed. I placed my order at 11:30 on a Friday afternoon. The site says typically it's under 3 hours. Mine was not. My order was for pick up not delivery. I had to work very hard to maneuver around the AI to reach someone that I could talk to. I started calling around 3 pm. Once you get the AI to put you through to customer service no one wanted to answer the phone. It would ring and ring. I finally reached someone tangible at 530 pm. They told me they saw no reason this wasn't filled earlier. They told me they are filling the order now but did say I need to wait until they reach out to say it's been done. Good thing too because the order was not filled until 9:30 that evening. We went in to pick it up on Saturday morning at 8 and they had problems finding it. I used to live on the west coast and I always preferred Lowe's to Home Depot but I was very disappointed at how long this took and how hard it was to talk to someone. Is customer service or customer appreciation really gone down that bad post COVID? Or is this typical for this particular Lowes. I would really like to know since based on this alone I will be hard-pressed to order again if it's something that I need and not just clearly something I want. Not good. Please go back to the way Lowes has dealt with people in the past. It sucks to get overlooked and unable to reach anyone to do anything about it.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had the absolute worst experience at Lowe’s and I will never shop there again in my life!!!! Manager super rude and didn’t help at all and just kept telling me what he couldn’t do to help me. They messed up my order and I had someone to install my dishwasher on the original day it was supposed to be delivered. After THEY messed it up, my new delivery date came and the person that was going to install my dishwasher wasn’t immediately available to install it on the new delivery date I had to wait a couple of days. Product was defective immediately and leaked water all over my kitchen. I needed it exchanged and they said it’s past the 48 hour time frame to exchange. 48 hours for an exchange window is absolutely absurd. I told him I wanted to talk to the store manager and he said the store manager wasn’t there and he wasn’t going to do anything for me either. Technically they was installing it on the second day and kept trying to see if they could stop it from leaking. I didn’t want to have to exchange it I just wanted it to work. They didn’t give up trying to fix and install Lowe’s faulty product until Lowe’s was closed and we tried to exchange it the next day and now it’s “too late” a “manager” only telling you what they refuse to do and what they can’t do is bad business. I think that managers name was Don, A TERRIBLE RUDE “MANAGER” Lowes needs to do better!!!!!
