  What makes this storage unit facility special is an employee named Robert. I had an experience this week that reminded me how much a single act of kindness can matter. During an extremely stressful time in my life, I accidentally lost my wedding ring at the storage facility. I was devastated and Robert went above and beyond to search for it. He was patient, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping me find something that meant so much to me. While I will always be grateful that it was found, what I will remember most is the way Robert treated me during a very difficult moment. He showed empathy, professionalism, and exceptional customer service when I needed it most. Employees like him make a lasting difference, and I am incredibly thankful for his help. Thank you, Robert!

  I have been a member of ExtraSpace storage for three years and I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism from someone. i let Michele know multiple times that I was getting a brand new lock that I was changing my lease over to someone else they still proceeded to move me out after paying for my unit this morning… without asking the customer is very irresponsible in my in my opinion. pride over professionalism with a simple task is not acceptable. when i proceeded to ask him why he would do that he said he’s just doing his job .. customer service is a part of your job this should NOT have happened nor should it be allowed to happen.

  Buckle up, settle in, and grab a snack this is going to be a long one, maybe. Let's start with Robert. Robert greeted me when I first arrived to retrieve the goods from the storage auction I won. He was kind, helpful, and even came to check on me as I was loading because he knew I was doing a lot of work by myself. He even offered me a water bottle, which was really thoughtful. Then there was Theresa. I already knew her from when she works at the Extra Space Knox Bridge location where I keep my own storage units and as usual she was awesome. Speaking of Knox Bridge, I neglected to shout out Tammy in my review for that location and I was remiss to do so. She is the person I see there most frequently and she is a big ball of kindness and problem solving. She has helped me on multiple occasions by answering questions and being knowledgeable about the location and storage units in general. Finally, there is Mike who has been very helpful and straightforward with his communication. Which is something I appreciate. Small story about Mike, he is gifted at communicating to an audience. I waited patiently while he assisted an elderly couple and he spoke so kindly and was so patient and polite. He was explaining some pretty technical things like scanning a QR code and how to use the app and it was clear they were not comfortable with some of this. He used relatable examples to help them confidently navigate a more technical solution. Then, because he and I had already talked on the phone about the unit I purchased, he shifted gears and spoke to me the way he already knew I operate which was direct and topical. Mike is a gifted communicator and shows strong leadership and ownership of his location and if I ever have need of a storage unit in Cartersville, I would be thrilled to do business with this whole team again.
