I spent well over 30 minutes in this store trying to get help, and honestly, the customer service was terrible. I came in ready to buy a nail gun, chargers, nails, and several other items — close to $500 worth of merchandise — but a lot of the tools were locked up and there was apparently no one available to help.
I walked around the store looking for an employee, asked the cashier near the loading area, and he told me someone would come help. I also asked other people standing near the registers, but some of them were not even wearing uniforms, so I honestly couldn’t tell who actually worked there. One person came over, looked at the locked case, said it was difficult and that he couldn’t open it, then walked away.
I also asked the employee watching the self-checkout area, and I was sent back to the same cashier. After waiting another 10 minutes, still nobody came.
At that point I gave up and left without buying anything. The only good thing is Lowe’s saved me about $500 today.
If you’re going to lock up nail guns, batteries, chargers, and other expensive tools, you need to have employees available to actually unlock them for customers. I shouldn’t have to walk all over the store begging someone to take my money.
Very disappointing experience. If you’re a contractor or someone who values your time, I would seriously consider going somewhere else.

Had a wonderful experience with the store team at this Lowe’s today. First, the department manager for plumbing and electrical was very knowledgeable and super helpful in finding several items I needed. Lastly, when checking out, I was using some gift cards, one of which was declining and Elizabeth, the store manager, ended up replacing one of them for me to help me finish the transaction. I appreciate both of them for making my life easier. Thank you!

This was an unacceptable and extremely misleading experience.
We had the option to buy the same appliance from Home Depot for less money, with no additional delivery charge, and have it delivered Thursday. We chose Lowe’s instead for one reason: Lowe’s represented that they could deliver it Monday. We even paid an additional $30 for that delivery.
After Lowe’s took our money, they changed the delivery date by an entire week. I will not even be available on the new delivery date.
Had Lowe’s been honest about the actual delivery timeline before taking payment, we never would have purchased from them. We would have gone to Home Depot, paid less, avoided the delivery fee, and already had a confirmed delivery date that worked for us.
Advertising or confirming a delivery date that directly influences a customer’s purchasing decision, collecting payment, and then pushing that delivery back a week is completely unacceptable.
I expect Lowe’s to price match Home Depot, refund the delivery charge, and honor the delivery date we were promised. Customers should be able to rely on the delivery date presented at checkout, especially when they are paying extra for it.
I would strongly caution anyone buying an appliance from Lowe’s against choosing them based on the delivery date shown at purchase. Based on our experience, that date apparently means very little once they have your money.
