- AAA AdamsMay 6, 20262.0I rarely post reviews, but the last two days have been a bit frustrating with this Lowe’s. I needed a few cans of spray-on truck bed liner. I searched around online and found Lowe’s had them for $11.99 each. I stopped in after work and grabbed two to start the project, but they were tagged at $15.99. I went to self check and they rang up at $15.99. The clerk seemed very frustrated when I asked for a price adjustment to match the $11.99 online. I was told, “you have to order it online to get that price.” So I left, went outside and ordered them online. Went back in to order pickup. They checked and said they couldn’t find my order to pull it, even though I had just placed it and was showing them the order on my phone. I left. About an hour later I get an email my order is ready for pickup. I stop in after work the next day, but there is only one can of spray in the order. The second can had been cancelled. Remind you, I had two cans in my hand at checkout an hour before the order was filled. I opted to just return the order and leave. I don’t know if the price difference is some corporate dynamic price adjustments. It was really frustrating staff would not match prices from their own website. Then to have the online order incorrectly filled just topped it off. I usually shop at both Home Depot and Lowe’s, but looks like I’ll be at Home Depot from now on.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
