I’ve been to this Lowe’s 3 times trying to get custom shades that they sell and there’s never anyone available to cut them. The first 2 times they didn’t have the machine to do it and the 3rd time I was told Chuck the assistant manager could do it but he’s at lunch and will probably be gone for an hour and a half.
It was a luck of the draw even finding anyone working who could relay the bad news!

I don’t usually leave reviews unless I’ve had an exceptional experience—or a terrible one. Unfortunately, my experience with Lowe’s has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
I purchased a Whirlpool dryer based on a sales associate’s recommendation. From the very first use, it took 2-3 cycles just to dry half a load of clothes. After trying different settings with no improvement, I called the store and arranged for a return. Lowe’s picked up the dryer in early July, and I was told my refund would be processed within 7–10 business days.
Today is August 6, and I still don’t have my refund.
I’ve called multiple times and was repeatedly told someone would call me back or that the refund was being processed. No one ever followed up. Today, I was first told the refund would be issued, then later received a call saying they couldn’t find the dryer and couldn’t confirm it was delivered back to the warehouse. I was speechless. Lowe’s picked up the dryer, so I don’t understand why I’m paying the price for an internal issue.
Because I needed a dryer, I ended up buying another one from Lowe’s, which I now regret. When I returned to exchange the power cord, the same associate who originally helped me kept asking me to complete his customer survey. I explained that I didn’t want to because my experience had been so disappointing, but he insisted the survey was “for him, not the company” and even told me what responses to enter.
I left feeling frustrated, undervalued, and disappointed. Between the unresolved refund, lack of communication, and being pressured to complete a positive survey, this has been an incredibly poor customer experience. I hope Lowe’s resolves my refund immediately and does a better job taking care of its customers.
