  Keep your receipts! If you can't produce a receipt, you will not be able to return, exchange etc. Putting in your phone number at each transaction is not a collective responsibility to prove a transaction took place. It is a personal responsibility. Inputting your phone number at each transaction might have been created with a whole different intended level of purpose? Because it is possible doing so does not create a system trace of the transaction. The system is fallible and not 100%! The thing that's missing they are not telling people might have to do with loss control. They've delivered items to my address yet refused a return, exchange etc. They probably have a trace of the order itself? Said system does not work very well in terms of searching for a receipt. They shouldn't market entering in your phone number as a way to trace each transaction. They rely on individual judgement that you keep your receipts! They self-exempt themselves from any transactional responsibility without the contractual obligations of a receipt. They have no problem taking your money but do not share the responsibility of record keeping. With capitalism, it's about enterprise and making money. It's not always about fairness. Unfortunately if it's the wrong place, wrong time, the consumer ends up being the loser.

  I have mixed feelings about this store, maybe its just our luck to keep getting into situations lije this no matter if its a big or small purchase... There are many vest walking around the store (especially in the garden center). It took me almost 3 hours to find perlite, tropcal soils, and suuculant soil. When attempted to ask one of the many vest for assistance they high tailed it to another area. Once I got to the register the cashier says you've been in here for a while did you find everything you needed. I said yes eventually. So in my mind I thought if you saw me you should have asked could I help you find anything. No assistance was offered to load my bags until an older associate on my way to my vehicle asked and I said yes please. The point is my 3 or so hour trip should have been an hour at most. I also bought 6 shrubs that I told the cashier my husband would be back with our truck to get. When he arrived, noone knew what he was talking about with a receipt. She never put my shrubs aside for pick up. Where are my paid for shrubs. I was not given an order number just a receipt. The previous purchase before this was the bespoke range, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The associate ordered the wrong color. We had to repurchase some things because delivery and installation are different from sales and nothing is in rwal time. I told the delivery guy it was the wrong color and ask were there plates or something to change it. He said it should come in the mail (ftidge and range). I waiting until the remainder of the order was delivered and that too was the incorrect color. Everthing should have been black, it came white abd stainless steel. So the installation rep offered to call his supervisor and he ended up taking the dishwasher and microwave back. Meanwhile I have a mismatched fridge and stove (i had to cook to eat right). BLUF: a 6 grand purchase turned into a round about 10 grand purchase because in order to correct the colors we had to repurchase. The sales associate was the initial person the ordered it wrong in the first place and they moved very slow on this. The installation rep was the one calling making sure we were ok. When he removed the old dishwasher to install the new one, it was incorrect so when he took it back that same day he never put the old one back. That somehow left me without hot water and it leaked. It was eventually made right and had to almost get a court order to reimbursed fir the initial wrong color items that we had to repurchase. I initially gave a 5 star review after sales. That was before I realized he was not the subject matter expert on appliances Talked a good game though.

  For the second time at this Lowes I have encountered employees who act with discrimination,wouldn't even call for someone else to help. "Supervisor" Laksecia and "Head Cashier" Teresa were extremely rude, then making jokes and laughing about not helping. I went to customer service to ask for a supervisor, Laksecia is the supervisor they sent and she completely refuse ro even talk to me or call a different supervisor, but she stayed to help other customers while staring back and forth at me, the customer she was called for. Ended up returning my whole pickup order due to the harassment and discrimination I received from her (I'm not going to let a business that treats and harrases customers like this have my money) will probably never step foot back in here again. All she had to do was call someone else if she didn't want to help..
