- VBVirginia BoydSep 10, 20261.0Well I had a Pretty Woman experience here on Tuesday, I thought about not saying anything but it hasn’t been sitting well with me . I have been looking for a shelf for my living room to display my cookbook collection. I was walking past the store and saw a beautiful shelf in the window and some beautiful temple jars so I thought I would take a look around. The sales associate came up to me, I believe her name was Nancy. She asked me if she could help me and I said no I was just looking around. I looked through each room, everything was really beautiful. I ran into Nancy again in another room. She looked me up and down and the only thing she said was “we do discount the furniture 30-40%” She made me feel like I was not good enough to be there. Maybe it was because I was wearing comfortable clothes and no makeup because I had just gotten my hair done, but I will never give this store my business. Nancy made me feel very small, and I immediately left after this interaction.
