At first, I loved this storage unit. They advertise affordable units. Yes, the units are well kept. The staff is friendly. What I find one-star worthy is that over the last year alone (I've had this unit for a little over 2 years), they have raised the price twice. When I initially rented, there was the promotional rate of $150 a month (I have a 1-x20 foot unit), then the price was to increase to $250 a month, which was the standard rate. Ok, no problem. Then, I get a notification saying the rate is increasing to $355 a month. over a hundred dollar month increase? I double checked my lease agreement, yeah, it says they can change the rate "depending on availability". Since then, another price increase, I am now paying over $400 a month for a unit I agreed to $250 a month for. When you say "depending on availability" why on earth do you want to jack up the prices on your loyal customers because you have limited availability? This makes no sense to me and it really sucks paying this much for a unit that was initially almost $200 a month less. Make it make sense. If you decide to rent here, just know that shortly you'll be paying much more.
