I purchased a tree from your garden center one year ago on a gift card. I dug it up to return it, then called your store to verify that it could be returned one year later under a "failure to thrive" guarantee from the Monrovia nursery company and Lowe's. The associate at customer service laughed at me and said no I couldn't do that. I called corporate and the man I spoke to told me I could definitely return it because that was the policy when I bought it. I brought it in and they told me I couldn't be refunded for store credit because I didn't have a receipt. The supervisor at customer service then told me to go out to the garden center to find a plant code because she couldn't find it. You currently don't keep eastern redbuds in stock, so I found one online instead. She then told me she couldn't take the time to find that item. I then called corporate again where they told me they can't verify gift card purchases. I showed them pictures of me purchasing it last year in the garden center, then planting it the next day. It's clearly the same tree, and it's clearly the one I brought into the store yesterday. They said they cannot give me any refund without a receipt, which I understand, but who keeps a receipt from one year ago? I called corporate again today, and I've decided that Lowe's policy for both in-store and Corporate hotline is to make sure that absolutely no one is empowered to help someone. If no one can grant the refund, the lowe's won't lose money to refunds. Again, the customer service person says "well we can't verify this," and that makes me think it's easier for Lowe's to believe I've made up an elaborate ruse to get money out of your billion dollar coffers. A ruse that includes digging up a tree and taking fake photos one year ago. One of the tenets of Truett Cathy's approach to customer service is it's easier to keep a customer than to gain one back. As a customer, I've been lost. I shopped at this specific Lowe's because I like to spend my money in Clarke County. I've been loyal to a corporation that would rather slap me with Policy and stone faced no's than try to make something right. Not only will I be avoiding your store entirely from now on, I've also called and canceled my Lowe's credit card with Synchrony. Lowe's can, and pardon the language, go jump in a lake.

Drove an hour one way to pick up shiplap panels. This is what I found when I got home. Almost all molded. Pieces so wet they fell apart when I pulled them out. Not what I expect from Lowe’s.
