So I stopped at this particular Lowe’s because I needed 2 5’ pieces of drip edge and Both Lowe’s and Home Depot sell it in a10 ft section. So I go into Lowe’s, grab my drip edge and head up to the contractors service desk. I said I’d like to buy this, but I can’t get it in my car at 10 feet. Can I borrow a pair of tin snips so I can cut it in half? It just happen that the manager was standing there and he says no. And I said “No”…. And he said no they don’t allow us to have tinsnips because they’re afraid we might cut ourselves with them. And I’m like you walk around with a razor blade (box cutter) strapped to your belt, and you cut wood to size, but they don’t trust you with tinsnips.
So I went up and grabbed a pair of tinsnips off the shelf paid $14.95 for them, I walked out to my vehicle cut it in half. I will return them next week. When I go in to Lowe’s to return them, it’ll be the last time Lowe’s will see me. It’s Home Depot from now on… exclusively!

It is easy to go to Lowe's . . . they make getting things done far easier than trying to locate this piece here, that piece there, and driving around just to find them. My list yesterday got filled by just going into Lowe's. As I looked around, Bob came up and offered to answer any questions. So, he took me directly to the things I needed, discussed the options of which to choose, and made my day. Then, checking out, the staff there helped me get my military credit, and out the door I went. What is so nice? This is a typical visit.
